I like these names, they sound very Asuran. Although, “pleb” was once used around here as an insult so the first name sounds a bit off to me personally.

Necrologist Wikk

“Necrologist” is pronounced similarly to “Biologist”. I don’t usually use name prefixes but I thought it was quite fitting for an Asuran; and different to my other character names.

5/10 – I keep reading Waleran as Whaler, although I do like the reasoning behind your choice, and any name with a sir, duke, lord (etc) prefix always gives a good impression of thought-through background.

Phydrath: 8/10 – I especially like this one, though it sounds more male to me.

No personal lore for my character as of yet as he still young.

Name: Ricaan Rosewell

I’ve been playing the Personal Storyline after neglecting it somewhat recently, and just rekindled the reason as to why I stopped it in the first place; the character’s voice actor is terrible! – Well the male human’s is, anyway.

I literally just cannot sit here and listen to his cliché, arrogant, “heroic” voice any more. It makes me cringe.

I’m not sure if this has been suggested at all in the past, but it just dawned on me that maybe a voice customisation in the character creation section would be nice little feature. I mean we choose the character’s background, profession, hairstyle, eye-colour, facial & cranial structures, even nobility (humans), legion (charr), cycle of the day (sylvari) – It’s all very personal and immersive.

So why not take it one step further and add a voice option, with pitch and speed alters, etc? Or even just something as simple as choosing from 3 different voice actors.

Would love to hear others’ thoughts and opinions on this.
