No, they’re saying the dredge in Hoelbrak. However, the Sons of Svanir are trying to take advantage of the situation — there’s been events where they put up roadblocks near Hoelbrak and are demanding money from the refugees to cross, and you have to clear them out of the way.

@Tiger: Oh, yea, man, I loved the female ranger and assassin gear in GW1. I’d love to find similar gear in GW2. Heck, I’d be happy to have Eir’s outfit for my Norn ranger…

Did FoTM for the first time last night, and going to the Jade Sea again, even in its disjointed fractal form made me nostalgic for the original. So I’m posting just to add another voice to the hope that GW2 revisits Cantha in some form in the future.

Well, I may see a glimmer of hope. One char of mine.. out of 7, has begun to get more drops of fines and common/blue loots, and actually greens.

I did Fractals for the first time with some guildmates last night, and it seems to have broken the “DR funk” my 80 was in for a while. Actually got quite a few greens, 2 or 3 rares, and the very first exotic I’ve ever gotten in this game as a drop in 2 runs.

We’ll see if it holds today out in the normal world.

Juvinile river drakes are found in the area just outside of Divinity’s Reach. No need to go to Orr.

Sadly, I have to agree — I spent almost 3 hours my one and only time there trying to find a juvenile river drake for my Ranger (never found one), and the whole time I was there I was downed so many times it ended up costing too much for the effort in repairs and WP fees vs the drops.

Not to mention that the whole time I was there I saw only one other player on the entire map…

When you say “there are hints of things to come already in the game”, that implies things can be found now rather than later. Because if it’s not in now, it’s not “already in the game”.

There are “hints of things to come” in the game since the patch — as mentioned in this thread, there are already changes to the environments in the northern parts of the two zones involve.

(I’m guessing one of the mountains on the border of the two erupts into a volcano…)

As for sigils, strength for the shortbow and accuracy for the longbow are recommended in that thread.

Did the entire event chain for the retaking of Arah last night for the first time. Rewards were 4 greens, 2 blues (none of them usable for my Ranger), some whites and some mats. Doesn’t seem worth it for the amount of time involved.

Only thing iw been able to find currently is that the mountain next to the path between Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills (Warmspring Grotto PoI) seem to have some heat ventilation on it, lots of warm air coming out of cracks. That being said, cant honestly remember if they allways have been there or not, but it dosent look familiar.

Lots of ash swirling around in the air by Savinir’s Dome too — I don’t remember seeing that before.

It has been a long while since I last did it, but if I remember right, there was a pillar on your way down to where the mouth and his patrolling adds are. Get behind it and stay there, then lure some of the adds. Sometimes one or two will tangent off to the side – those will be easier to lure if you so wish.

By adds you mean those weapons circling him, and not the couriers feeding him, right? My ranger died multiple times on this last night and I finally gave up; figured I’d find an answer here.

The first and only time I’ve done Claw of Jormag so far I got one green, 2 blues, and junk (my main alt is level 80). Today I was running around Sparkfly Fen on my main, covering areas I haven’t been to yet. Killed 4 veteran mobs of various types; 3 dropped nothing, the 4th dropped 2 skulls. That was it.

Yea, something is borked here.
