2) GTAOE (Ground Target Area Of Effect)

This game essentially requires you to be right-clicked (mouselooked) into your screen 100% of the time. Turning with a keyboard is not viable under any circumstances.

I can not tell you how many times my GTAOEs go directly to the ground because it’s impossible to tell where your mouse is actually at on the screen when you’re mouselooking. It would be interesting to have some sort of way to be able to tell where your GTAOE is going to go when you’re mouse turning. This is particularly annoying when you’re trying to Cluster Bomb kite people at short range, for instance.

Question for D/D players…

How much damage ends up being condition damage? It’s the only weapon set that I haven’t tested extensively as I don’t want to rely heavily on condition damage in sPvP.

Churning earth is in a really bad place, and should probably be reworked. The risk of casting it is not worth the damage reward. Might be better if we had more base hp or toughness.

While it is easy to agree with this, the synergy with Lightning Flash and strength when used on nodes/bunkers make it a questionable buff over some other more pressing issues. i.e. more useless spells..

I would love to see a cooldown reduction on Earthquake and Updraft, nothing else really needs to be added to your reasoning especially for a D/D spec.

++1 For Mezmer morph 10 second cc.

I think all escape mechanism or #3 skills, should be brought in line with one another so that they require help of an additional team mate to knockdown/stun/disable the stomping player to be effective.

By effective I mean be able to be cast.

e.g. 1-2 seconds longer than stomp cast-time.

After giving up and playing a few other classes to try and get a feel for the game I came back to my Ele and am running a build which seems to work quite well for roaming.
I might add that it’s quite different to anything I tried before as Scepter/Dagger…

Notes.

*Lightning Flash can be swapped in to make landing Churning Earth a breeze ~~~.

*Signet of Restoration can be used as the heal but actually using it for anything but the passive destroys the items strongest attribute and I find the burst heal from Water Attunement and Glyph of Elemental Harmony to be far to strong to pass up.

*I Am using Glyph of Elements not Conjure Firey Great Sword but can’t select it in the build editor.
