For 1v1, the timing of Corrupt Boons is really what clinches it. If you get them when they topped their boons, its guarantee win for you. Its also a skill that can be used in all necromancer builds. Turning stability into fear? Yes please!

Still find that Condition Damage with Rabid armour seems to be the most effective build at the moment.

My wish list for my condition necro

Use Rabid Armour and accessories. It gives Condition Damage as Major and Precision and Toughness as Minor and has amazing synergy with Superior Rune of the Undead which gives more condition damage based on 5% of your toughness.
Only problem with this armor and accessory set is its expensive.

Tortured Roots (Earrings) go for 10g. Khilbron set can go up to 40 gold. Only thing that is cheap is the Collossus Fang which goes for about 4 gold. Plague Rings are expensive too, but you should do FOTM and get ascended rings so its no biggy.

Since you are stacking bleeds with a Condition Necro you should get both condition duration traits in the Curses tree and use condition duration + condition damage food. That should set you up so that you hit condition duration cap.

I found Condition Damage necro the most satisfying to play as it has high DPS and high survivability. And in PvP, you are pretty much the direct counter for any class as long as you predict the right time as to when to use your Corrupt Boon.

I run a full on condition damage necro using Condition Damage, Precision, Toughness armour and trinkets and is amazing in Fractals to the point where you can stay on the ground in the Dredge boss loading conditions on him and still deal the same amount of damage as other people. Bleeds can tick up to 3500 (that’s about 134 damage a tick) damage a second if you have a full stack of corruption and use food with Blood is Power’s might stack. It can go as high as 184 damage a tick if you have a party that constantly applying might, which is about 4500 damage a second.

This build is a damage build, but extremely effective at killing adds on bosses due to Epidemic spreading your high intensity and high damage bleeds. Literally you can kill adds in a matter of seconds in level 30 fractals. Not only that, you’ll have 2750 armor to boot.

Question about Life Siphoning

Anyone know how Life Siphon works? Like what stat determines the amount you get healed? Is it based on the amount of damage you do or is it based on healing power?

I was thinking along the same lines as OP, as to improving WvW. Corpse spying is an issue that I really want fixed, as well as the Orbs. The supply thing is really interesting as well.

Ranger Short Bow Stealth Nerf ??

Shortbow was overpowered as it is. Also, if you are saying Longbow is the worse weapon, you are wrong. It is amazing if you are coordinating weapon swaps with the shortbow. It has an interupts and two skills that can hit 18k crits, one of which is AoE… Not only that, it also has a skill that inflicts 10 stacks of vulnerability. PLUS, its auto attack does 1.8k crits and 1.3k normal and its speed is half of shortbow.

Ranger was OP before and as a ranger, I felt it was extremely overpowered being able to down warriors in seconds. Now its pretty even. Also, pets can still hit for 4k crits still, so whats the problem?
