Anyone know why thief dagger is the only melee range weapon not to cleave?
We have 100B Warrior cleaving and Whriling Attack hitting everyone in its path. Not sure why…

Thief is the only class that actually melees with dagger mainhand (ele doesn’t count since it’s all spells) the trade off is higher dps/burst but hitting only one target.

Nit-pick: Necromancer’s Dagger 1 chain (the most common power weapon for Necro) is a range 130 that also doesn’t cleave. It’s actually higher damage than our Dagger 1 chain (940 vs. 760) though there is a slight animation delay and no conditions.

The rest of the Necro.Dagger skills are 600 range (with annoying cooldowns).

This would also be wonderful for Necromancer’s Adept Death Magic minor: Reanimator, especially in certain fights.

Maybe it’s related to pathfinding? Necro’s Spectral Grasp is hilariously bad in the same way, save that I don’t think I’ve ever seen the half-and-half result.

Yesterday, I was working on completion and kicking around Metrica on Necro80. Every time I fell off something and landed in the water, I automagically flipped into Plague Form. I’ve still got elite bound to 0, so my hand was nowhere near it. I haven’t tried to replicate in another zone (though I haven’t noticed it before). Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this?

@kasandaro, are you asking how long the timer lasts, or how long it takes to press the swap key manually?

As for how long the kit lasts before it unequips itself, I couldn’t tell you; I’ve never timed it. I’d like to say maybe 4 minutes?

That one. And weird. And depressing that we don’t have an unbugged kit. I knew MK was screwed up, in that you couldn’t hit 6 again to unequip, and everyone knows about Flamethrower’s LoS issues. (Makes me wonder what the issue lurking in TK is.)

I guess I’m just not in GK long enough to notice – I tend to flip back to shotgun(1) a lot if things get close.

(1) The way it acts, I refuse to call that thing a ‘rifle’.

…albeit I’ve only got eng up to 30ish, I’ve never seen it drop by itself (save when I decided I needed a face full of dirt). How long does it take for it to swap out?

1.2, technically, since Necrotic Grasp (on Staff 1) has a small chance to proc projectile. But definitely.
