Today and once last week (~19th) I also received no loot when I finished the JP. Like the others I didn’t even receive the 3 gifts. In both cases I finished the JP from “yesterday” slightly before the daily reset (around 2pm PST) and then again shortly after the daily reset. (around 430pm PST) In both cases, the completion made after the daily reset resulted in an empty chest.
It’s pretty frustrating this issue seems to have been going on for the entire Wintersday event.
I really enjoy this jump puzzle. I feel like the difficulty and timing is just right. When I get to the end of this jump puzzle I feel happy that I am able to finish it. I was not able to get to the very top of the MKCT and I felt a lot more frustration while doing it. Had I been able to get to the top I wouldn’t have really felt happy that I finished it. I would have been more relieved that I never have to do that again.
For the people complaining about not being able to see their character through the charrs and norns; I’ve found that waiting a second at the start so that I am a platform behind the large group of people helps give you an unobstructed view. There is plenty of time to get to the end and you don’t have to be the first person there.
The only problems I have with this jump puzzle is the long waiting time for the puzzle to start. I also dislike having to watch the cinematic every time I enter the winter wonderland zone. Although it is much better than having to watch the cinematic before the start of every round, like in MKCT, I’d prefer to have an option to skip it after watching it once.
Thanks for the wonderful event AN, I am really enjoying the whole wintersday festival. Please continue to make content that is completable by everyone, and not just the elitists.
I just did it and it worked for me.
Although for the record, you don’t always get a Karma container. Twice I’ve gotten a bag instead of Karma (heavy moldy bag I think, one of those types anyway).
I also just completed it and got the reward, but I did not receive any sort of karma booster. All the other days that I completed the JP I’ve always gotten some kind of karma booster. The gw2wiki page on winter wonderland says that once per day you are supposed to receive “a consumable giving Karma (type depends on character level)”
What the hell really? I couldn’t find my way to that stupid spot and when I finally did, I missed it. Well that’s a giant disappointment. But if its a one time event, why does it display to the right that it has been defeated and SoS is quiet once again? Usually when I see that the event occurs again
The exact same thing happened to me too. All I got to see was a dead karka and people linking exotics.
