I hated battlegrounds in WoW but I have really enjoyed WvW. That said, I just tried to find the cache in Obsidian Sanctum. What did I find to greet me? 10+ of one of the other team, /laughing at me. Ran down anyway, because might as well try, right? Found them scattered throughout the puzzle, got attacked, managed to run out in the nick of time. Looks like I’m not going to complete that anytime soon, if ever.
Not everyone likes PVP and those that do may not have a small army of friends to back them up when they try to do stuff like this. Don’t make PVP a requirement for PVE achievements, please. It’s bad enough I’m going to have to wait how many weeks for my server to change to the right colour so I can finally get world completion. Nobody wants to try and take blue’s keep.

I’d love to see this too but I don’t think it’s going to happen.
Unfortunately the way our server architecture is set up and the way our back end data structure is set up, it’s just not something that is feasible for us from a standpoint of providing a top quality experience.

I bought a dye pack and got Abyss out of it – easy 20g. Will be saving the rest for amulet/rings I think.

As others have said, sometimes you want quiet time or to level an alt without getting nagged to jump on your main. If you go invisible, anyone following you will see “X is now Online” immediately followed by “X is now Offline” and then your location changing on their friends list as you play. I want to be able to log on as invisible and not have to manually set it after I’ve logged in. I believe that’s a modest request.

On Piken Square there is one logger who runs through the dialogue to return his spirit to his body so by waiting for him to respawn I’m slowly managing to complete the heart. Event is still bugged though.
Edit: Spoke too soon. Just as I was about to finish the heart, he bugged and wouldn’t return to his body and the sole shadow fiend in the area won’t respawn either. sigh
