Ok, time to look at your file structure then. Use Disk Utility and check / repair the hard drive. You may have to boot from your recovery partition, otherwise it won’t allow repairs on the main volume.

Did you try to delete the game files completely and do a fresh reinstall? If not, that might be a good idea, just have the installer run over night. If you have a friend with a working installation, or have it installed on another comuter as well, you can avoid downloading it all and just copy the files over from there. Works with PC installation too.

The first option didn’t work, so now I’m reinstalling and well… we’ll see what happens! Thank you again for taking the time to help me out.

Sadly, it didn’t work. Thank you for the suggestion though!

So Guild Wars2 runs fine everyday for me, until I got this error today. The moment I click on the game, instead of showing the normal log-in screen it gives me this error, and I have no idea what to do. Much help would be appreciated.

EDIT: For some reason another error prevents sending the problem to Arenanet.

I was just creating a character, then the buttons stopped working and I had to use the Task Manager on GW2. When I tried to log back in, it kept giving me that log-in error. Is there maintenance or something, or is the log-in server down?
