I’ve had this game pretty much since it came out. I’ve found the respawn rate to be a bit ridiculous in many places. On the other hand, with good technique on my Nec, I can usually kite and defeat several of them at the same time. I’ve gotten one friend to come try the game. He hated it. Since then, I’ve felt obligated to warn friends about the respawn in this game. I’ve probably talked 12 people out of buying it since then. The respawn clock is definitely a half-ass, thrown together Yugo mechanic. Doesn’t bother me too much; but I know several who hated it so bad, they quit and probably each is convincing their friends not to play it.
I did the same recently. Pretty much the same old game except that the drops kind of suck bi remember them being much better.
Agree. Monster spawn/re-spawn is ridiculous. Knockdowns as well – both the frequency and the duration. Not sure if they ever claimed this to be an explorer oriented game; but it certainly can’t be thus far. Hard to explore an area with stuff popping up every 5 seconds. I’ve quit exploring. I just sort of finish an area and move on out. I feel like I’m merely power-leveling. I hope this changes. Gonna wait and see. After all, the game did just come out late August. Hardcore players would disagree, but they could easily have special areas for the cyber tough guys to go crazy. I’m a more casual player (old guy).
Yep. The knockdowns are ridiculous sometimes. Saves me some money though. I tend not to give in to gem store purchases after I get clobbered by some NPC godtoon. I guess there’s a good and a bad to it.
