Flame barrier WAS basically Fire Aura (or fire shield, as it is called for some reason to REALLY confuse people). Then they made Fire Aura not suck, but also they made Flame Barrier not count as an aura anymore. Now all that is left is the pre buff Fire aura but its not even an aura to take advantage of all the aura buffing traits. So its completely kittening useless.

You COULD make it give might just like Fire Aura but then you kind of make fire aura pointless (although you could then factor in not needing to use focus which most people do not use anyway) and then have some point – make it so when an ele is in fire you better be careful when you hit them because if you fail to kill them you are going to be taking a lot of damage.

The whole fire trait line needs a massive overhaul. Air at least has a few choices to be made when going full 30 points and is pretty strong, earth has less choices but is strong. But fire you can’t go 30 points and truely feel you did it for ANY of the traits. The only case I ever wanted points in fire was for the 10 extra uses on summoned weapons because Lightning Hammer is so boss

I know there were somewhat valid reasons for it, but I kind of hate how when I came back from a break a few months ago I noticed a lot of the little tricks in the puzzle were fixed. Mainly the shortcut in the arena room you could blink up on, and the fact that with a lightsource backpiece you could do the darkroom invisible. Mainly the latter, because now people CAN camp the arena with just 2-3 dudes and I can’t do anything about it. I used to be able to sneak by using expert jumping but thats gone.

It’s just kind of annoying because there WAS a counter to everything, but now it is extremely easy for a small group of people to COMPLETELY lock down the entire thing because of vastly vastly superior terrain advantages.

We would not necessarilly HAVE to pass TC (although mathematically with 24 hours left we would only need to maintain 160 more points the whole time to do so) but simply drastically close the gap.

Basically for us on FA, if we want a fun an engaging matchup next week we are going to either need to pull much closer to TC or outright surpass them in points to keep them below SOR and put them in Tier 4 with us. SOR vs FA vs DB will be a horrible match, but TC vs FA vs DB will be awesome matchup.

So no offense to the guys at TC, but for the sake of next weeks matchup, we really need to overcome you tonight.

Part of me wants to see you do that because your reasoning is sound. Trust me, if you don’t surpass us tonight the results for us next week are even worse than yours. On the other hand, I’m not sure its in us to just give it to you. It will be a fight, a hard fought one, but I am rooting for you (and us indirectly) to surpass us.

I wouldn’t expect you to give it to us anyway. This is more of a rallying cry for FA. However, it would be both epic of you and lucritive as well to assist us together in attempting to take down BG tonight and allowing us to take over the points toward this goal.

However like I said, this is for FA to rise up. Normally it all doesn’t matter much and the most important thing is each fight and giving it your all. But tonight we can make a difference, a meaningful impact. Victory has a tangable benefit. So I can only hope we can show up tonight and bring it to show that when its necessary we can hang. Tonight is the night to do it.
