How about letting us unlock elite specs BEFORE we’ve played through all of the content? We want to play the content with the elite specs, not our old builds.

I paid for the expansion so I can enjoy the specializations. Now its plain suffering.

Exactly this! I’m not enjoying the game at all since the release. I want to but I can’t even play the elite specs. Much less grind them all over again for my other 12 toons.

2/10 since you were asking for fun factor. No one likes the Hero Point GRINDFEST.
I’ve waited so long to try out the new elite specs on all my toons (13 in all) and found out I can’t even master 1 even though I had several toons with map completion. That’s the main reason I bought HoT. Can’t even imagine doing another elite spec over and over..I’m so disappointed with Anet right now. And that’s saying a lot..

And as a side note, if you’re making a male engie, right now there’s only 1 chest armor that’s not a trench coat..which my other engie is wearing.. http://imgur.com/HA56iwj so it might be a bit of a challenge.

Most people I know who made a legendary just used GW2Legends.net (including me) as a guide. Pretty easy to fill in what items you have and computes how much gold you’ll need to buy the remaining items.

Well, I love all my toons but I do like my sylvaris.

What profession are you using? I did it solo using my staff Elementalist. 6-2-6-0-0. Brought Diamond skin but the must have skill for me that time was Glyph of Elemental Storm – Sandstorm (Earth). I just dragged 1 group, earth staff 4, Glyph of Storm (for AoE blind), fire staff 2 etc. They died before my Sandstorm was gone. Rinse repeat.

Only thing was, you had to wait for Glyph cooldown every time you needed to drag a group of wolves. Well, atleast that’s how I did mine solo successfully. So it’s possible to solo. Goodluck!

Yep! I hated the trench coat look too so i used the same chest piece OP. Plus it suited my Engie’s Harley Quin look perfectly. Wish there were more options like this to be honest.

Thanks! i was going for the Arkham City Harley Quinn and I guess it turned out all right. The fact that engineers love to blow up things helped a lot in choosing the Harley look.

I personally got into fractals recently (about 2 or 3 months ago) just to make the shiny fractal backpiece. On my way there, at around 290 runs, i got 5 skins (hammer, pistol, focus, mace & sword) and about 3 ascended boxes. Still want that dagger skin, but i haven’t come back since getting the backpiece. Btw, 3 skins dropped at lvl 26-28 and 2 at levels 36-38.
