I've noticed people with FPS issues haven't said anything about what server they play on.

Oh I was pretty sure it wasn’t the cause, it just struck me as odd that of all the posts I saw, no one mentioned it at all. I don’t know what happened for myself though. All of a sudden I’m getting 60 fps pretty much everywhere without doing any “tricks” or updates.

Certain servers may be having issues with performance.
As for myself, I am on Fort Aspenwood. My performance was HORRIBLE starting with the September 18 update, but as of today my performance is better than ever.
I did submit a trouble ticket to support, so maybe something was tweaked, but there were no updates. I feel like maybe the server itself was updated or purged.
Maybe?
Correlation is not causation.
A lot of people have some form of AMD hardware.
The fact is, there is no specific hardware causing these issues, and there is no proof of such.
Yes, some amd hardware (bulldozer) may perform slower, but there is no way the difference in performance is as great as people are experiencing.
Many people with AMD hardware are having incredible performance. It is misinformation to blame it on AMD.
Otherwise, I wish I could help, OP, but as of the September 18th patch, I’m having the same issue.
Also, I don’t mean to attack you personally or anything. It just so happened that after reading the same thing from umpteen other posters (who didn’t even bother to read the thread they were posting in), yours was the one in front of me when I was ready to post. I apologize.

I’m having the same issue as hippl
Clean install Windows 8 Pro 64
AMD Phenom II x6 1090t OC 3.6ghz
8Gb DDR3 1333 RAM
Radeon HD 6950 2Gb
Sandisk Extreme SSD
Worked amazingly on Sunday night when I first installed Windows 8, but I tried to log in yesterday, and after the patch I was stuck at about 10fps. I think I’ve gained about 10 fps total since then but it’s really unplayable.
Did a complete re-install, and also ran with -repair as well. No matter what options I pick, highest or lowest, no change in FPS. Getting anywhere from
Though I have AMD hardware, this is NOT an AMD specific issue. Clearly people with different setups are having the same issues
Forgot to add: As soon as I turn my camera, at all, in any direction, my fps drops to like… 1. Ridiculous.

> Noticed most of the issues are with AMD Systems or Ati Videocards. Have you tried running Beta Catalyst drivers?
No you didn’t. Stop spreading this misinformation. There are many many topics of people having this issue with INTEL and NVIDIA hardware. There are also many issues of people with exactly the same builds having completely different performance.
