Guild Wars 2

In my ticket response I was asked to disable all non windows apps starting at boot (MSConfig > Services > Hide Microsoft Services > Disable all. Startup tab > Disable all > Reboot). I had already tried that some days before, didn’t solve my lag issues, though it’s not bad to check and stop unnecessary services.
Today I didn’t have lag issues at wvw (mostly solo camping), though I don’t consider this solved until i raid again in group at prime time.

Opened ticket so they guide me in the process. I knew this would not solve my issues but I did it anyway; I’m publishing here so others in my situation don’t even bother.
Thanks for the info about those programs @Dhorghar , saw pingplotter mentioned before.

Tried reinstalling the game. Same as before, ping goes from usual ~60ms to 2k.
If it’s not my computer, the game client, or my isp… then what is it? My account was handpicked to suffer this extreme lag?

I was wrong. Ping goes from regular 60ms to 2k, it’s unplayable. Tried repair, switched client ports, reset router, upgraded drivers. Reinstalling game now.

I like the pairing system when it’s fair (ofc), anet developers got no extra tools to help balance the linking? All systems may be flawed, that’s where people working on it put their brain and efforts; if not to solve it, at least improve it.
Main issue is the gem / gold / money flow works against any correction. That’s the impression I got. Good for Anet in the short term, but not so good for wvw players and communities.

+1 for activity log on tactivators, and ability for guilds to ban certain users

After that, continue with maps. Smaller, less labyrinthine as I read before sounds good.

I’ve never met Taimi, but reading about your reaction when meeting the kid and her golem it feels like I was there, and I understand how these details are a source of inspiration, I suffer the same condition as you (SM); I was diagnosed in 1999 when I was 23 years old, first 3 years were the worst as it affected my left hand and leg, after that It hasn´t been aggresive, but slowly been affecting my mobility and my energy, everyday I got to fight against this ever-going tireness.
The MS Toga Event Yailith mentioned is on-going every year since GW1, never participated for one thing or another, but not gonna miss it this year. It is a positive thing that this event tries to make people aware of the sm condition… (will contact you Yailith as I need details about the event).
Thank you Christina for sharing this beautiful story of Taimi and her golem, also to the developers of gw2 for the game (ofc) but also for creating unique characters with background that may inspire us in real life…
And ofc, big thanks to gw2 community, people that came to this thread to share bits of their stories or just to show their support.

Since last update of GW2´s the Mobile Authenticator is not being asked before login in to game, neither on your website. Already checked mobile auth is enabled on my account. Guess I could try to delete the actual one and obtain a new one but that´s not how it´s supposed to work, is it??.
