I can verify that Photoshop has been becoming way more painting friendly. More brush control now, more blending techniques, and there’s even a “Painting” pre-set layout that you can choose. However, SAI is a great choice too; although I’ve never painted with it, plenty of amazing artists use it.

You might be interested in joining Mist of the Undead[MOTU]. We’re a fairly small PvX, fully upgraded guild; pretty friendly and say hello to everyone. We’re mature social/casual type of guild, and if you feel there’s any “ropes” you’d like to be shown, we’ve recruited plenty of newer players and shown them around or answered any questions they had. We do have a PvP team tournament coming up(GW2’s official one) so many are prepping for that, but we still have people willing to run dungeons and world bosses and the like.

More stylized than realistic. Has a washed out, watercolored effect. You recieve B&W version as well as colored.

Full color, Slightly Messy Painting
More realistic. Attention to details but still retrains a messy effect. It is a painting, so composition, color scheme, and lighting are all taken to a greater consideration.

Many active guild members from my guild are recruited from dungeon runs or other guild activities, where our guild meets other people, and have such a good time that they want to join our guild too.

I think your guild’s purpose is specific; which isn’t a bad thing, but it requires a player to be interested in specifically WvW and (I’m guessing) on SoR. So i think its natural that it’ll be harder to recruit.

I’d suggest keeping the guild active in WvW, party up with people(if that’s what you do in WvW? I’m not an active WvW’er aha), and have fun with your guildies. People will notice, and want to join in on the fun too.
