Basically whats happening is there’s no crash when i double click the shortcut or the GW2.exe in the folder to start the patch. just like any other time i go to log in. it just says 0kb/0kb, then initializing, then just disapears off my desktop. The tab is still there at the bottom tray so i can minimize and maximize the window, i just cant see anything.

You need to adjust your monitor’s color settings to 32bit.

This will vary slightly depending on your OS.

Right click your desktop and select Screen resolution. Click Advanced settings and select the Monitor tab. At the bottom is a drop down for colors, select True Color (32bit).

Note that if you have multiple monitors, you will need to do this for your primary one. Select it first or right click it and select properties. To be safe, just do it for all of them.

Unfortunately this didnt work for me. I’ve tried everything suggested by the Dev’s and you guys but i still cant get it work.

I tried to patch from an older version from 8/25/14 under properties of the gw2.exe it gets to 11,352kb, then goes from 2000kb/s to 0 pretty slowly. but thats when the error box comes up.

This is exactly the problem i have!!

Think i just gonna watch a movie and hope tomorrow it will be fixed!

my launcher just goes away, when i start gw2 with the 256color settings then i see my launcher, else not. And i played today already without problems (without the 256collor option)

When i click on my gw2 icon, the launcher appears, i see initialising … and then it goes away. I still see its active in my windowsbar at the bottom. but dont see anything. Not event the launcher…

on my loading screen i see, initialising, and then it dissapears. I see the gw2 is running but can only see my desktop homepage

Only officers and leaders have the ability to start the missions in the guild tab.
But why are normal members able to start it at the mission flags?
I think all guilds would agree that it would be better if only officers and leaders are able to start the missions at the flag itself.

Yesterday we did guildmissions with our guild.
There was announced that guildmembers and friends would be in the same map when entering a region.
We needed to do the crap toss challenge, but allot of our members where in different (overflows/maps).
So we needed to join partys and travel to the same with “join in ….”
We got allot of members so that also took a while.
At the challenge there where already 3 other guilds and we got the same problems for the puzzle.
Is this gonna be fixed from the megaserver so every guildmember will be in the same map auto ?

I’m at Telenet also, a friend of mine is also Belgacom and has the same problem…

if i want to rename the target of the shortcut with the -diag it says the target is invalid.

Yep the ones i spoke are having also the same Isp,
On other online games i dont have the problem, its only on guildwars2.

What can we do about the ISP?

Since the last week allot of Belgium players are having a sirious amount of lagg.
Its so bad, i cant play pvp or wvw anymore.
Before last week i didnt had any problems with that.
So please whats the problem with it?
Can anet fix this stuff?
