Hi guys. Hope you can answer my question.

So I’ve been playing thief on and off now and I can’t help but notice how squishy they can get. Now, I’ve tried respeccing traits and read a couple of threads here and found this:

• Dodging is your best friend
• Don’t spend trait points on vitality, since it’s a losing proposition
• Focus all your traits on achieving maximum damage output
• D/D is used for condition damage builds.

I’m currently at level 19 and focusing on D/D. Prior to reading the threads, I originally had focused on putting all my trait points on Power and a little bit on Shadow Arts thinking that it’ll help me a little bit on survivability. With that said, I have these questions:

• Should I focus on Power and Condition damage since i’m using D/D? What skills would be useful for this build?
• How do you effectively use dodge and the dagger skills to avoid taking too many hits? This is crucial for me since I don’t play with thief players a lot and therefore I can’t observe how they do this.
• What kind of gear should I focus on? (+Power, +Prec, etc)?

Missions Affected: Did someone else’s progression quest called The Lost Chieftain’s Return while partying after completing the entire Pets and Walls Make Stronger Kraals mission under my progression. After being able to choose whether or not I wanted to complete this mission or stay in my previous mission, I said complete. This then gave me the Forewarned is Forearmed mission, which switched my affiliation from The Order of Whispers to The Vigil.

Funny you mention that. Our guild does that all the time

Formerly called the Vanadiel Alliance, Lumberjack Fantasies is a unique guild in that it is focused more on social interaction and meeting new people as opposed to serious gameplay and distinguishing itself from most other guilds by having a striking name… and a great promo that we proudly shout across maps!

The name is derived from the classic Monty Python sketch about a barber frustrated with his job, proudly proclaiming that he always wanted to be a lumberjack, leaping from tree to tree as they float down the rivers of mighty British Columbia. And yes, we have a video… and, by proxy, an anthem!

As the name and description implies, we love comedy. All our members are fans of Monty Python, SNL, South Park, Kids In The Hall, and various other acts. We welcome members of any other guild or new people who just want to relax and hang out… yes, we’re that lax. My friends and I run this site where we try to write about things that people wouldn’t normally write about across several different hobbies we’re into and thought I’d share this article. The article is all about how one person’s cynicism of the Gem Store system was met with a lot of stumbling around and realizing that it’s not as bad as he initially thinks it is. This is probably not a place for this, but three finger swiping would be nice as an alternative to the left mouse button drag so i can see the front of my character. But yes – I too would like to be able to use all the F1x keys as standard function keys as a toggle in game.
