Why Ascended Armor So Fugly ?

no body neeed ascended stats to do PVE or cometitive pvp, they are ing because of the crys of the comuninty that still looking at gw2 like any other games with gear based on pvp stats to auto-atack other player and “feel powerful”.

ascended is the gear to grind to have advantage at assaults or “open pvpve”. only ingame for that kind of plyaers, but is useless and not needed for other things.

same as the rewards in general, i dont feel forced to grind any gear to play gw2, i can FARM my gear really fast.

thats why i dont like games based on pvp stats, and, on time get bored of assault (PvPvE) mechanics at any game.

There is not a need of new tier, only a need for skins, the fail was from anet introducing an useless tier only for the crys.

i’m happy to have PVE and Spvp stats needs intact, but sad to see how bad-designed or too much “baroque” are the new skins.

mmmm at 16min the dragon is bored to walk over corpses and kill all ppl on map with his powerfull poisoned breath of wrath.

u dont need a mechanic u need more Imagination, try classic RPG games for a while.

ppl want a 100% max tier piece of gear for a 15min fight… R-O-F-L

Rewards are perfect as they are.

why ppl forget the how much pointless is the economic reward on this game?

at this game u “DONT NEED” nothing more than 2 weeks to get full exotic on ur first 80 on a new acount and have the whole fun, dont forget that, we already have ascended gear just for shout up that hardcore gamers (hardcore complainers) wich want recognition for his life (no-life).

A year has passed and ppl should now that, and stay at gw2 or go another game and stop complaining no sense

Hi, first my build.

For bersek i use GS/axe+somthing preffer mace or axe, 30/10/0/10/20 berseker+ogre+signet of dmg%

just MHO ^^

at warrior sinergys and survability : i go for power, vit, crit dmg and atack speed but dont go over 50% crit% full buff because power and vitality are priotity over crit%, and, warriors and necros have the best HP of the game, testing toughnes but if more toughnes work better on warrior game is broken from he base stats-lore relationship because that HP advantage should to be used to aniquilate the foes to the death without defense, like a bersek does

i go that if i dont know every detail of the dungeon or have a very nice party supporting my defense and controling the foes.

now read if u want to know why i chosse that over TOP crit%. If u dont i’ll be happy anyways

at 100%-120% crit chance (taking advantage from low level precision scale with signets builds for fast level), we have saw that we dont always crits.

as we all know this, we have to build according to that and not go blindly for precision. wich is useles over 70% crit %

with full bersek+ogre+fury (not ascended jelwery nor adrenaline trait) u reach 62%crit wich is over the breakpoint at wich you do nearly all the hits crit. (60% at most games i have played, aion,diablo, at gw1 warriors only had 14-19% at 10-14 atrib points) dont need more crit%.

You can go for TOP crit% if you want do just a little bit more crits.

there is clearly some kind of Diminishing Return or that crit% is not added linearly but stats window are adding it.

who knows……?

Hi

at first i talk only from warrior POV ^^ and my opinion is precision is overrated for gw2 warriors, i’ll explain this and the relation to celestial armor.

from others games i learned something from crit chance, some examples:

at aion u had 44% base crit and 50%-55% at 525-600 crit, wich is full buff.
D3 u have enuogh at 47%non buff, 57% full buff
at gw1 warrior usually has 14%-19% crit chance from 10-14 attrib point

that 70% or plus crit chance all ppl are wearing is for burst damage, and should be reached by skills or runes for a very short moment and IMO dont worth for a heavy armored melee DPS (yes for ranged or light armored melee), note for melee clases u cant do ur DPS all the time.

my personal conclusion after playing other games at heavy armored melee bersek spec for sustained DPS is: u only need 50% crit chance, after that go for atack speed, base damage, ""crit damage"" OR ""surviability"", here comes the celestial stats on scene

If that celestial MF set can reach that breakpoint of crit chance, i think is good for overall PVE (leveling and event MF farming), but u can go better surviability+damage by other specs to do dungeons because MF dont work at chests and seems u kill more mobs at event farming than dungeons, and MF is better used when kill a big number of mobs.

time will tell, and when i have enough gold to get all the sets i want on my warrior my opinion may change.
