I’ve never done a speed run in Aion or FFXI in 4 years of play, nor have I ever had to youtube a guide on a dungeon or instance for any other game in over 10 years of mmo play.
Well I can say something in the same lines:
I don’t have to explain things to new people, nor do I have to do dungeon slower because some doesn’t want to speedrun. You see it works both ways.
I can understand both sides. Why can’t you?
Because your way is selfish and detracts from a good MMO community. Telling someone to leave the game and do research, is NOT the same as simply telling someone you are doing a speedrun. People like you are part of the problem.
Explaining and teaching new players about the world of Tyria is the core of GW2 which is community and teamwork. Everything in gw2 screams teamwork and everyone working together for a greater goal. To say you don’t need to teach people, sure. Your right. But then you are of no benefit to the community whatsoever.
He’s a benefit to me. I like to do dungeons fast, easy, and without having to explain things. I want him in my group!
Stop doing so much math, try it out and see what you like better.
I find crafting to be a chore. Collecting mats, getting recipes, and making the materials. So much work! Just type in what I want in the TP and click BUY. That is what I like to do.
I would use crafting for two things: crafting legendary and leveling up faster!
Eventually, you will want that legendary and will need to pick up crafting. If you want a greatsword, I believe you need Weaponsmith and something else, so why not level up the crafting now while XP is more valuable, since you’re not 80 yet?
Warriors, Guardians, and Mesmers are the three best professions for dungeons. The group make up I’d prefer to run with is: 3 warriors, 1 guardian, 1 mesmer.
Warriors for damage.
Guardians for protection.
Mesmers for control.

Why do you keep on joining groups that wants to skip? I am puzzled.
I would rather spend that time farming for gold, then buy the mats.
This allows me to have a 100% chance of getting the mats I need.
People use crafting to level so the market is flooded with items. Crafting is not profitable.
Yeah, right now Eternity is not worth it for me. If I had Twilight and Sunrise, I’d just equip w/e I want. Why should I wait for it to be night or day? Lol.
On top of that, you lose the effects of black or white footsteps. Lol.
Spend your time more efficiently.
You can get 2G in 30 mins farming COF P1. That is 1 Corrupted Lodestone every 30 mins. You spent 20 hours? That is like 40 Corrupted Lodestone you would’ve gotten.
The drop rate is low because the TP is for ALL servers. This means, you shouldn’t farm specifically for mats, instead farm for gold and buy the mats.

My advice is to play the game the way you like, and save your gold. Once you have 1000G, you’re close to getting a legendary.
LOL. you made the choice to grind grind grind. Anet is not forcing you to do that. I play the game the way I want and the gold just piles up. I then use the gold to buy what I want.
Just look in the trading post…you can also right-click preview them.
Make it like the new AC right? So it’s more frustrating to PUG.
LMAO, just solo it. You don’t need 5 people.
Hi, try going to the whisper secret HQ. After entering that zone it should pop up.
Which legendary weapon (Twilight or Sunrise) would you craft, and why?
Any advice on avoiding AOE poison that has no red circles, or is invisible? Sometimes he goes under the ground and all the sudden I get hit by poison that is invisible.
I just want to buy some trinkets
You can work around by asking them to type
/join “Your name”
and have them join your party instead. That’s what you can do for now until they implement something.
