oh kitten … i want to level a char but i cant decide. I just dont have the full gear, experience and i heard that classes really show there potential after lvl 80 and gearing
so can u please help me a little and kindly give me some advice ?
basicly I wanna have fun, easy going/little bit of difficulty but not too much in pve and dungeons ele is just right in terms of that
after I did my pve and i farmed a lot of events and stuff, i wanna get good gear and go WvW
WvW im not experienced at all, so that where i really need ur help
(its either war, ele or thief)
dungeons/pve –
Warrior and ele win for me, because of high burst, aoe, soloing/farming
i heard thief is just very very hard, i like evading, evading is fun, but if im new to a dungeon i want to be able to learn by doing and not die by doing. so it should be a forgiving class im playing, and i feel warrior comes first but i like ranged boss fights so ele seems to be the best for me in dungeons and pve
WvW – i like mobility and wanna have an answer to every class
1. mobility wise
prefer the ele moblity …
2. answer to every class wise
thief – can stealth, backstab, runaway – it works but
-is there a healthpool which u cant burst? because after the burst an ele would just spam aoe and from that point it becomes very difficult as thief
-besides its borring to hit single targets and run away all the time !
ele – i like it just sooo much , buttonpressing whirling arround, heal up again, beeing in the middle of the fight
-but it sometimes takes long time to get people down, i miss the big damage sometimes (or am i wrong and just watching the wrong videos?)
-feel like ele are to mobile to be beaten up by warriors, even if they stun u
ele has mistform and arcane shield
-but against thief im not sure, if i have a high healthpool, will i be able to survive the first thief burst and burst them back? will arcane shield triggered when 25% health rescue me? because if so everything is cool and im gonna go with ele
warrior – I love the look of it, i love the hammer smashing and the greatsword,
but i feel that it can be dogged quite easily, so if i were an ele or thief, i would dodge and then burst while he is on cooldown ( am i right?))

okay to sum this up
if i level my ele to 80 and have full exotics burst build , will i have a chance against
a thief lvl 80 full exotics ? or am I like instantly death ?

i used the searchfunction but didnt find any answer.
In WvW, good thiefs get invisible before u even know they are there.
Suddenly ur dead within a secound, thats really annoying.
so is there a way to counter those backstab thiefs real quick, with decend reaction ?
Because I feel like its 1sec and Im dead.
I know aoe is good against thiefs, but if i dont know theyr there ….
