Guild Wars 2

I’ve encountered many bugs in many different games. However I’ve never encountered a game where a guild just magically deletes itself. I’m not trying to troll here, I’m just really frustrated. Sure we reformed the guild but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and my gaming communities mouth. Any response to this issue would be greatly appreciated. I see there are guilds that lost 200+ members. There are literally thousands and thousands of people out there that think they have been kicked from a guild they were proudly representing or have no clue what happened. In those people’s mind what will they think about the guild wars 2 gaming community? There thought isn’t going to be a good one because they are going to think… “Man I got kicked out of this guild, why? I didn’t do anything wrong.”

I’m pretty frustrated that my guild lost one week’s worth of work with no hope to regain that lost time. I won’t and neither will my existing guild mates spend a penny on this game unless this bug is properly taken care of with the proper guilds restored and merged into new guilds. I think this is a fair solution and should not be overly difficult to achieve. Guilds are the core in guild wars 2 so this should have a very very high priority I imagine. If not I’m playing the wrong game.

Sincerely one of your biggest advocates and fans who convinced over 50 people to purchase this game.

Well… checked this morning and my guild has been deleted as well. Not sure what happened or what is going on. I submitted a support ticket last night and responded with the needed info… but the guild is now gone. Any response would be greatly appreciated about this and if the guilds will be restored or merged with the new guilds we all created. Thanks!

The purpose of writing this is because our guild is having a huge problem in game with the guild functions. Before the bug happened we had almost 60 guild members and about 1 week worth of upgrades and a nice chunk of influence points. It is showing 1 out of 1 inside the guild with no influence points. Even when we type in guild it says “you are not part of a guild”. Many of my guild members thought they were kicked from the guild and obviously they weren’t. So I’m not sure if we were the only guild affected here or if they were others. We have also submitted bug reports in game but not sure if they have been seen or not.

We have since reformed a new guild…. we have half the members we originally had and only a couple of upgrades. So we are hoping for our old guild to be restored or possibly having both guilds combined in terms of influence spent into the same guild. If there is any additional information need I’d be more than happy to provide. Thanks and have a great day!

P.S. – If it matters I am the guild leader of the bugged guild and reformed guild. Thanks again.
