i’m not going into details but there was an exploit with that spell and all they did in this patch is to fix that exploit.

That’s a great suggestion , they could sell this extractors just like transmute stones and have a chance for them to also drop from blacklion chests and 100% map completions.
it’s really sad to have to sacrifice your set just for the skin , it would be very nice if they implement this in future updates.

everyone saw what happened to HoD , and look likes it’s going to happen all over again with JQ now , people will migrate to JQ like they did to HoD.

so my suggestion is , close server transfers to the top 3 servers making the top tier matches more competitive , and preventing a mass migration(again) to the winning server.

GW2 "endgame" model is fine. Execution doesn't make sense tho, problem and solution.

i am basicallly in the same situation of the OP , i loved the cosmetics but either they are easy to get or grindy as hell to get .

the cultural armors per say , specially the low /mid levels ones that no one buys because even for a lvl 80 it’s expensive to buy.

the way the game is right now to me is :
want some cosmetic gear that looks great? ok farm the hell out of karma or this dungeon or take this common looking gear that you use since lvl 10.

where is the mid-term guys?

My Guild would transfer to a lesser populated WvW server if...

Yup thats right, Anet already built in a system to prevent one team from continuously destroying everyone else. It’s called temporary alliances! Look didn’t the work make an alliance when the nazi’s wanted to invade everyone? Didn’t the colonies make alliances with the french when they wanted independence? The only effective way to balance WvW or RvR is to allow the two lower realms to team up and shutdown the top team.

If ET and SBI shutdown HoD completely several things would happen. First a large amount of people who just switched to HoD because they are the strongest would be left with long que times and less server pride as they arn’t dominating. Also if Et and SBI joined up and kicked HoD down a bracket we would have an SBI vs ET vs JQ fight which would be awesome! Imagine logging on Monday after work and everything is exactly as it was on Sunday night.

Seriously we need to stop complaining about HoDs night crew (Technically its day crew) and simply shut them down. They want to run 24/7 coverage and take things uncontested then they will have to deal with a 2vs1. Eventually things will even out and large guilds will get tired of it and transfer off.

so you are saying that 20 people from SBI and ET will overcome 100 from HoD , we just don’t have enough people to do it during the week not even with a 2×1 strategy.

i’m growing tired of the WvW , EVERY single day at my guild we recapture our keep , construct defenses and stack supplies then in the other day ALL is lost. this isn’t fun this isn’t worth .

i just hope Anet brings GvG soon and i’ll be out of WvW for good and let HoD vs Wooden Doors they seem to enjoy it

i agree with the OP , WvW need some adjustments otherwise people will just get angry about this flawed system and will move to sPvP or another games.

i made that suggestion a little while ago , but you explained and gave a better example.

my suggestion in that the reward for this dynamic quest would be a global token that you could exchange to any other dungeon token you want.

because in the end what really botters me are 2 things

1) people that want to do dungeons are scattered through the dungeons , and we dont a have a looking for group chat to search for groups , instead you would have to search EVERY SINGLE DUNGEON looking for a group.

2) the fact that i have to run THE SAME dungeon over 60 x in order to get my equipment, i think that if we had a dynamic quest asking us to go to different dungeons daily and giving you global tokens would be great to avoid the grind by doing always the same dungeon.

Get rid of the constant diminishing returns throughout the game!

i am really afraid of the future of this game , it’s getting harder and harder for casuals to obtain equipment while hardcore gamers that rushed the content already have gold and gear ,

why do i have to be punished for playing Anet? why? having a crazy amount of tokens in order to buy the sets and the low rewards system isn’t enough? why do you keep punishing the players Anet?

in the current state of the game , i do not see any advantage in doing dungeons , the amount of money you end up spending on repairs , the time spent to complete it and the low amount of tokens you earn is not worth it .

i really like the game , but the rewards does not incentive you to keep playing.
it’s frustrating and feels like you’re being punished with so low rewards for such a great time and effort spent in the game.

when i bought GW2 i thought , they said it was a FUN focused game trying to get rid of the GRIND , i’m not complaining about the difficulty of dungeons it’s about the REWARDS i have a problem with , hell the rewards can BARELY GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK from the repair from the overpowered one-hit KO mobs from the timer event , right now THE GAME IS NOT REWARDING , it reminds me of those Korean MMOs where you have to grind as hell to get to something , seriously once i get my exotic set i will NEVER return to those grindfests , IT’S NOT FUN , IT’S NOT REWARDING.

Many people in my server are only doing Arah or CoF , they rarely go to other dungeons in explorable mode , i think Anet should create something like a dynamic daily quest to incetive players to go to other dungeons , and the reward could be a global token which could be converted to any dungeon token.

here’s an example , in day 1 the quest would ask players to go to Crucible of Eternity then in day 2 the quest would ask players to complete Citade of Flame and so on…

Arah Explorable mode equipaments without runes

i don’t know if this is supposed to be that way but , the token equipment you get from Arah explorable mode doesn’t have runes in it , while other equipments of another dungeons have.

Trebuchet range

i don’t know if it’s working as intended but i don’t think it’s fair for a trebuchet from Garrison to hit the outer gates of the west Keep , since we cannot hit that trebuchet because they are inside the Garrison and in a higher ground.

i would like to hear people’s opinion on that matter aswell to see if this is fair or is working as intended.
