Fair enough. I’ve purchased tools for all of my characters, so I would be in a niche market. I wish they would implement something like this, but more likely than not it would be a waste of resources as they’d have to code a whole new system. Maybe years from now after they have dozens of skins cycling through and the demand is dying they’d introduce this, but there is always new alts and accounts being created to fuel that market.
Please implement a way to interchange skins for the infinite tools. In order to maintain similar or even increase profits retain the soulbound status so you need to buy a ‘base’ tool and can access all of the different effects once you purchase the respective new skin.
I believe a fair compromise for the players and Anet would be each character must purchase a ‘base’ unlimited harvesting tool, and every time a new skin is released it can be unlocked and chosen similar to finishers.
I thought I remember reading somewhere that it would only have 15 uses. Could a dev, or someone who recalls reading it too confirm if it is an infinite finisher until the second season, a timer on activate, or x number of uses? Thanks.

I tried the various supply depots, but the only appear to have upgrades for the camps themselves. When I say Borderlands, I’m referring to the bottom right, or left-hand corners.
When I attempt to equip my gloves, they immediately replace the pants in their respective slot. I’ve tried resetting the game, using different gloves, etc to no avail.
