Guild Wars 2

Seeing the announcement for the Heart of Thorns closed beta prompted me to think, “I’m excited for this expansion.” Which made me think, I’ve been with this game from the beginning (Pre-ordered Digital Deluxe Version) and I can honestly say that I feel as though the game as a whole is continuing to get stronger with time. ANet keep doing your thing! I know everyone doesn’t like every change, but it is evident that you are still very much engaged in and care about the product you’re providing. I would say that you epitomize what an MMO company should be. Thanks for your hard work and creativity.

If you can’t tell by the title I just took a brief foray into another MMO and it’s community, it lasted less than a week and reminded me how great a community this is. So thanks ANet and GW2 community, you guys make gaming fun. Also I love the defiance bar concept, it sounds like a practical innovation for making combat more enjoyable; Bravo!

Thanks to those contributing to the discussion, I would agree that they will add more with future content but I also don’t think it can possibly hurt to ask or talk about it as that is what the forums are for. Just trying to do my part to hopefully move it up on the priority list.

As far as eating babies goes, I’m glad to see a couple that are familiar with Swift, he’s one of my favorite satirists. Although it’s not really applicable since we don’t have to feed our pets anything anyway. Also is reference to Rangers/Engineers/Thieves. I would really like some medium armor that doesn’t make my male avatar appear to be wearing a skirt from behind. That’s all I have Anet… beautiful game and tons of fun

Also I think Leo G’s approach is excellent. It could be helpful in a tangible way to discuss desired tameable pets. I’m just going to throw a couple out that I would enjoy and I think would be original to this game or at least have not been done in a fantasy mmo to my knowledge.

-frill-necked lizard (the frill could function as a taunt…. maybe even bi-pedal)
-kangaroo/wallabyish (Rocko’s modern life… Oh yeah!)
-Mantis
-Penguin (the ultimate amphibuous pet )
-Then of course just new skins for existing classes

This is just a simple request from a fan and player for the Arenanet team. Please in future content consider expanding the Ranger classes tameable pet list. Those of us who love this class and love nothing more than exploring this vast game world in search of new and exotic companions would be forever grateful. Thank you for your time and attention.
