Thanks for all the help!
“Just a heads up there will be encounters that will give you quite a bit of trouble. Ones that pretty much require attacking and moving at the same time. For your sake I hope you are able to come up with a clever way to accomplish this otherwise you will find yourself at the wrong end of some AoEs.”
When will this happen? Main story line quest? I don’t plan to do dungeons.
Yes, some of the Personal Story / Living World-Fights can be a little on the harder side. But you can always ask for support in mapchat / find a guild / add nice people to your friendslist. The Community is one of the best things in this game. If you play on an EU server, feel free to send me a message here in the forum or in game.
Have Fun!
This just seems more and more pain to read all of this on forums. It just seems that i will need to quit this game cause game lacks of proper PVP,fun PVP.I always played open world PVP games but seems like i made mistake by buying GW2.Only game with no any sort of Open World PVP,only game where u cant properly fight 1vs1,fight with your friend, with your PVE build….yeah it was mistake. This game wont keep me for long here.
I absolutely agree with you!
After the last two years you should’ve learned not to trust these “Dungeon Masters.”
Then there would be no reason left to play with him/her.
Great Discussion from all sides here…
From a writer’s perspective, I think the lifeless avatar was a great visual representation of the dramatic damage that was done to the Pale Tree itself. Not sure how that could have been visualized otherwise.
From a player’s perspective it reminds me of some Pen-and-Paper-RPG, when your Dungeon Master tells you something that doesn’t fit into your view of the world or even contradicts something he said before. You can either object to it OR you can trust your DM and incorporate this new detail in your view of the world. In this case:
“I wonder why these wardens tend to the avatar when they must know it’s just a representation. Maybe in all these years they got used to the avatar? Maybe they are just shocked?”
Me personally, I always try the second route when Roleplaying. If I have reason to trust the Dungeon Master, that is…
