Rest in peace PvP Mallyxs Revenant. Pretty sad that you destroyed the unique copying of conditions. I guess too many people cried about Rev being op right? Well you should consider that people will learn how to counter such builds. In the beginning everything unknown is considered OP by usual players because they have no idea how to play against it.
That shouldnt be a reason to nerf mallyxs stance straight into the ground tho. is it? Im sad that mallyxs will be bad in pvp now and you are forced to take it if you dont wanna get instant rekt by conditions just because of the resistance.
Another point im worried about is that you cant kill D/D Eles anymore since you cant reflect the burning back and it takes away alot of dmg. When you wont be able to kill/decap D/D Eles anymore like you could before Revenant gonna be worthless.

Is this real life? What is real life anyways?
all is vain
Dear Devs and Players,
Recently i have been playing my Elementalist in the Top Tier PvP. I am playing the celestial dagger/dagger build with Fire Water and Arcane. I am really into Elementalist and i love playing it since the Beta. I really like the lastest patch and the new burning d/d Ele.
A great thing for example is that i can counterplay the “steal ability” of thieves with my burning and blind procs. So i actually know how to counterplay thieves and i know how to play. When a thief wants to engage me i just put down my ring of fire and when he steals on me he gets 3 stacks of burning and his steal misses since he gets blinded instantly.
The problem im facing tho is, that even tho when the thief misses his steal, i cant sustain the fight! The dps outcome of a dagger pistol thief is just way too high. Plus he can avoid any damage by just stealthing up and blinding all the time. Plus a thief is way faster then me and i barely have any escape mechanisms. I even have to equip rune of vampirism to become invulnerable for a short period of time in order to try to sustain myself!
Why cant Elementalist have a escape mechanism like stealth? The earth nr.5 dagger offhand skill, also known as churning earth, is really underpowered. It never hits in combat since my enemys always dodge it! So why doesnt that get changed into a smoke field so i can actually combo off it and stealth me and my allys? Wouldnt that be just fair?
Thank you for your attention! I hope arenanet will realise this, nerf thieves and buff the real underdogs of this game: Elementalists.

Levin smart much, impressed wow fix
And this bugs are completely gamebreaking. “Please fix this ASAP, as it makes the thief nearly unplayable”.
Sincerely Matze
LOL
Ok well, I was exaggerating a little bit xD. But its annoying as kitten!
Well this pretty much sums it up
thanks
PS: If Bountiful Theft is intended to work this way, this is pretty sad.
Hey im Matze. Me and every other thief playing pvp in this game got frustrated playing in the last few days. Why? Steal! I found this out, while duelling. And this bugs are completely gamebreaking. Please fix this ASAP, as it makes the thief nearly unplayable. Steal is designed to be a skillshot with the current traits available. But at the Moment it is NOT. Let me explain you why:
1. If you Steal, you have to stay next to your Target for like 1/4 a second. If you Steal and port away fast with shadowstep or shadowstrike + steal you MISS your Steal.
2. Steal has a 1/4s delay before it hits, means you can also hit somebody after you are dead. For example-> i try to Steal on the Earthshaker of a warrior that would kill me in order to Interrupt it. He kills me -> steal hits when im in downed mode. This is NOT about my Hardware.
3. Steal sometimes randomly doesnt hit, when the target is on a higher ground then you are, or when the target is LOS. Sometimes you get the port but dont hit the ability.
4. When you Steal might from a target ,with the trait Bountiful Theft, the mightstacks dissappear. For example: A warrior has 20 stacks might. You Steal them -> 19 stacks might dissappear and you get 1 stack of might from the Steal. If you remove them with the sword/dagger ability Larcenous Strike you get the full 20 stacks.
5. Basilisk venom sometimes does NOT work if used with Steal. This is extremely random and buggy.
Please hotfix this.
Sincerely Matze

Dear Guild Wars 2 Community,
Me, a old Guild Wars PvP-Veteran, wants to do some suggestions which concern the PvP System.
1. My primary wish is, like the title anticipates, that new PvP modes going to be released.
Deathmatch: Like Heroes Ascent in Guild Wars 1, this variant should be invented. The dimension should be reduced to 5v5. The team ,killing the enemys team first, wins and is able to continue one round. This would enable a title-system, which rewards more for consecutive wins then for single ones. To avoid endless fights and full def teams, one could invent a timer about 5 minutes long. After this timer the team which dealt the higher damage wins. Deathmatch would be also interesting for 2v2 arenas.
2. The Capsystem: Full Def Bunkers, in my opinion, should be banned from PvP. As solution I suggest that the cap system should be changed in that way: When 2 blue players and 1 red player are on a capture point, the point will be taken slowly by the blue team. This would lead to much more dynamic and exciting fights. It would be a bonus for E-Sports tournaments too, because observating fights wouldnt be as boring as it is at the moment. Bunkers would be still viable, but not as essential as they are now.
3. Higher rewards: The rewards in PvP should be heightened a lot. For example one could invent rare Weapon/Armorskins or Minipets which are only available in monthly tournaments or in 5v5 Tournaments.
4. Immobilize: When a character jumps and he gets immobilized in air, it happens very often that you are kind of “stuck” in the air and cant use any skill (not even stunbreaks). Please fix that asap!
I think many PvP sympathizers share my opinion. I hope for much feedback and an enthusiastic discussion.
I apologize for my bad english, as it is not my first language.
with kind regards,
Matthias Ospel
