There were plenty of other people ther being one-hit dropped. It wasn’t just me. I maintain though that regardless of point allocation it is silly to have mobs that can one hit us and not give a chance to evade/withdraw after that one hit.
Regardless of build, I don’t think we shouldbe able to be one-hit. Granted, my thief is a critical build. But stil…..
Not the first time I’ve experienced this. Last night I was in the hinterlands with my level 49 thief doing a group event where you have to kill some large rock dogs followed by a really men centaur champion. Dogs were dispatched by the group of about 6 doing event then the centaur guy game.
Everytime I took a hit, I died. I have gear and skills appropriate for mylevel.
Each time I died (about 10 times) I had to spend 70 copper to revive nomore than a few feet away from where the event was taking place. So 7 silver in revivies plus repair costs all because of the constant 1 hit kills.
This is outragous
the economy is dictated by the playerbase, not anet. i hope they stay hands off
In the walmart near me GW2 is already in the bargain bin.
Holy hell, that patch size. Part of me wonders why they waited until the evening to release this patch.
seems like i’m having to redownload the whole game
Anyone else since the new build?
Getting a “Connection errors….” retrying.
same here
So far, every post I’ve made regarding Dr. Ricks impressions on GW2 has been deleted. That alone should convince nay-sayers that Dr. Ricks has hit he nail on the head with his criticisms about this game. I will not re-hash my old posts; however, I just concluded my morning telephone call with Dr. Ricks, during which he provided me with several valid suggestions that would improve the state of the game ten-fold.
(1) Implement Free For All PvP, everywhere
(2) Implement a reputation system with colors representing a character’s representation based on their moral and ethical actions within the game world.
(3) Implement a “loot drop” system, so that when you slay a foe he risks losing part of his inventory.
(4) Implement a “bounty” system. So players can put bounties on the heads of other players and be financially rewarded for claiming a bounty.
I will post more as I speak further with Dr. Ricks.
Trust in jobu.
Don’t know how it is on all servers, but as a level 65 on Fort Aspenwood I can’t even get into a group to do the lowest level dungeon (Yes, I avoided dungeons until now) I was told by many people that only level 80s with good gear can do Any dungeions.
Feedback is accurate.
Dozen naked ranger bots and bears in Queensdale as i type this.
Yeah, it’s pretty lame. That was the main reason i left wow. Feel Like I’m right back in wow now.
I just hit level 50 and for the first time wanted to go into a dungeon. There was a group forming for the lowest level dungeon (ranked lvl 35-45) I think, but the group would not take me because of my gear. WTF?? Is this wow
This is the only MMO I have played where you can’t check/view your ping to the server. What the kitten is up with that?
How can i change the email i use for anet? I don’t see that option in account management.
Well, it seems replies might be right. I checked my email account and apparently there was an attempt to access it from China four days ago. I have changed my passwords both on there, and on anet, using different passwords for each.
And strangely, this attempt happened only ten minutes after I purchased gems.
I have not visited any, tyvm.
Ok, so I just bought GW 2 Yesterday.
Today I am getting emails telling me someone tried to log in to my account from country “CN” whatever that is. How is it possible that after only one day hacking attempts have started. I want to add that I have run virus and malware scan, and nothing malicious was found on my pc. The hack was not successfull, of course, but I still find it curious.
