Hey guys,

Been back to engineer after a while. Played a lot of different characters.

Before Heart of Thorns I loved the HgH build with flamethrower. Though I came up with 2 builds. Anyone any ideas?

First one is with grenades:

Second one is with flamethrower:

World PvE/Dungeons Tempest build.

Well I noticed the difference when going full zerk. And outgoing healing is nice I supose. Though going healingpower indeed is quite meh.

Still new to everything.

But the second build I posted is what works perfectly with how I like to play. I just like the water tree line with the support it already gives. Though I guess I can always switch water for air for max damage.

But still, running around alone in the maguma area’s alone can already be quite tough for example.

Anyways, give out some ideas if you guys have some.

Hey! Thanks for tje superb advice. My lovely ele can finally fully build as a tempest. I switched Clerics for Zerk and switched my staff for S/W. The suport is great and the damage is amazing. Also switched air for fire.

I tested it in PvE group events etc. The differenve in damage compared to staff is huge and still the supportive skills are great. I love dealing great damage while still being supportive.

Hey guys,

New to building characters. Though I love building characters and ideas. Recently my elementalist reached level 80. I’m quite handy as a D/D, but when I found out how much fun staff really is it got me thinking. And ofcourse my skill points are being put into the tempest tree-line.

Well the general idea is to do support damage as well as a decent amount of healing. The idea for this build is to be supportive for other players as well as being a decent damage-dealer. The idea is not to reach the top at doing damage, but being an effective tool in group-events and world PvE with a good amount of survivability and being versatile.

Maybe I’m a fool to say world PvE and dungeons. Though … didn’t look into any other content that deeply. My connection gets f*d up when i’m doing WvW and PvP is not really my thing.

Anyways here’s the build I’m thinking about, I want to know what you guys think

Thanks for the reply Do you also think Rampager (power, precision, condition damage) would work?

Well … the thing is that you have a lot of capabilities with the use of your elixirs. So about anything you do with your conditions will be stronger. Might gives bonus to power and condition damage.

Hey guys,

Lvl 50 engineer here heading towards a HgH build for PvE

Wondering what you guys think of this

Was trying to create something that had a bit of healing to be supportive with the AoE healing especially, while still delivering a decent amount of damage. Just wondering what i might think about gearwise.

Well cheers guys! It’s nice to see to hear the opinions about weapon sets. And also … i love hammer, i mean … me smash much? So far i’ve learned every weapon skill and i can just buy off whatever i want to just play allong with whatever i feel like playing. And it works for me.

Planning to do dungeons eventually yes.

Hello all,

I just started playing guildwars 2 and started out with several classes in order to see what fits my playstyle.

I tried every class and i downgraded it to two classes, elementalist and guardian. Cus of the magic potential and the unique playstyle it gives me.

But today i want to talk about my guardian, it’s a Sylvari and i love it. (Somehow, maybe like most people, i’m drawn to sylvari). Also, it’s just level 15, but i want to prepair for the world of Tyria.

Anyways, i looked up several guides in order to see what fits. I found a build that focusses on Radiance, the use of one handed sword in combination with focus and as offset a greatsword. Works fine. But as a seasoned RPG player, i’m always tempted to try everything.

Currently i’m working with a Scepter/Shield and Mace/Focus. It works really awesome! Currently invested all my 5 points in Valor, giving me decent defense. For example, i solo’d a group event for killing a boss that was ment for more players, but there weren’t any around. So i desided i’m going to try and solo it, which i did and i won!.

Anyways, i’m just happy to share my story so far and also i’d like some tips/advice on how to work further with a guardian focussing mainly on PvE/WvW. Also, spending points in traits … first of all i can spend up to 10 per trait line? Or 10 devided among my choosing?

Well anyways, happy to introduce myself and i hope you guys can give me tips how to level up in a fun way, which is a bit different from the usual, cus i like to experiment a lot.
