Then a few days ago finally was fortunate enough to reach Tier 4 during both Day and Night cycles in Verdant Brink to acquire the Bladed Chest Piece.

Weapon is the Reaper Greatsword, otherwise Belinda Greatsword would have also been good.

Was doing that earlier today myself and spent a good 10min trying to get to that seemingly impossible green marker, then read the description and saw that it told me to go to Silverwastes.

But you’re right about the community sometimes being extremely toxic, well not the community but perhaps more to do with certain individuals being online at that time.
Some people just want to watch the world burn.

The 1h sword + shield are Fused Weapon Skins obtained as a rare drop from a Black Lion Chest.

Every time you open one there’s a rare chance of dropping a token which can then be exchanged for a weapon skin of choice over at Lion’s Arch.

Chances tend to vary, I’ve heard some people say they managed to get a token after just 12 chests while others have opened over 100 and still nothing.
I managed to get my first token on the 20th chest and again around the 50th chest.

Another couple of months later and Khaimar (80 Human Warrior) has evolved from a Krytan defender into something darker.
Though he did manage to pick up a white Charr guardian buddy along the way.

Most armor in this game seem to have been designed around a human’s form factor.

Some would argue that there’s also Cultural sets which are supposedly designed around their intended race but honestly I’ve only seen a few cultural sets which actually looks ‘good’ when worn by their intended race… the Charr’s heavy Tier 3 armor set comes to mind.

But overall I find humans so much easier to work with when it comes to mix & matching items from various sets. (see attached)

Redid the armor work and dye on Khaimar slightly to give him a more fallen crusader’ish (if that’s a word) look.

Dyes: Abyss + Black Cherry (a slight hint of red with a tone very similar to dry blood show up under certain lighting conditions)

Hi Findros, they’re level 35 green shoulders from the “Outlaws” set.
Currently going on my server for about 19 silver.
