In the new blog post about Season 2 (you know, the one about it not returning until January) is states that ‘A Very Merry Wintersday’ is being host in Divinity’s Reach, alongside the statement that there’s exciting content and events coming over the holidays this year. This therein implies that there could be some changes, new events, new something for Wintersday – I should think so, being that it’s in a new city…
However, as one can no doubt see – Reddit, the forums, even some of the map-chats in-game are becoming quite hostile and aggressive; probably due to the momentum last LS chapter built up.
I think a good idea to perhaps, maybe get people’s minds off the wait might be to release some more information on Wintersday this year! That way, whilst it may just be a holiday (a fun one), we’d have something new to look forward to as well!
I’m also a bit gutted that there isn’t a new trailer, I always loved checking back for the Guild Wars 2 trailers…
Anyway, yes. The idea: give us (if you can) more information about Wintersday in Divinity’s Reach! It might make some people calm down a bit after the season-break reveal.
I feel like some of the changes are thread-bare and to me, personally, don’t warrant a whole day dedicated to their announcement. Some of the things we also already knew about. We want new information, big information – even if it’s just the clarification of what they’re working on. ‘Big projects in the background’ can be subjective and/or already released. What are they doing now? What is our plan for the (quickly) approaching 2015?
I love this game, I really do. I commend all of the people who have worked on it past and present! But I sorely feel as though something is missing, and at the moment I’m more worried than angry.
Where are you guys? What are you doing? Likely hard at work, and I appreciate that! I really do! But between all of the unrevealing interviews, car-crash Gamescom segment and this silence which has had you enthralled for quite some time… I’m generally worried about where you plan to take the game!
I understand that there are some features yet to be announced, but the lack of fanfare with this feature pack has me a bit unsettled.
So, to reiterate, say something! Anything! ),:
I wonder if Polymock is still in development, or if it ever was…
I for one would love to see it’s incorporation into the game! More sandbox-y-style elements would be grand!
Since I’m not going to be able to play till the tenth of September I’m worried I’ll have missed half of the Living Story’s lifespan!
Is it here for a month/longer or shorter? I’m worried!
Thanks very much for the feedback!
So, after playing this game for just under a year now (and no level 80 in sight, chronic main-giver-upper), I’ve decided to settle on an engineer. I love the playstyle, the big guns and the flamethrower!
However, since I’m a noob, what kind of things should I be looking out for gearwise? Like conditions, precision etc.? Should I get some extra vitality gear + traits because I’m a bit squishy?
Many thanks fellow cogheads!
Thanks! Requesting close now! (:
Is there any way I am able to change my email address on this account? I registered using an older email address and currently am using a different one.
Kind regards if anyone can post me in the right direction!
I did use gw2lfg.com for quite some time, but found it never really bore results! An ingame option is likely better, though I hope it is modeled on the website!
Thank you for the replies though! I love this game a lot, finally being able to do Fractals (level 1 or whatever it is) is a big step for me!
Very swish, me likey.
I just wanted to express my gratitude that there is indeed an LFG tool in the works. One of the biggest drawbacks to this game for me is being unable to find a group for any of the dungeons. As a result of that I think I’ve only experienced a few of the dungeons, and none of the Fractals (since you’re all on level 4 billion or something now).
A LFG tool just sounds grand, and I imagine it’ll bring a lot of the playerbase back! I for one love the dungeon aesthetics, and (on the few dungeons I have done) I usually spend some time after the instance looking at it all in awe. Snooping around so to speak.
Anyway, yeah, would love an update on the LFG tool! One question I have would be – are we grouped from our -own- server, or are we put into a pool of people looking for groups from different servers too? (Similar to the Warcraft dungeon finder).
Many thanks!
I was just thinking, with the release of several stories (and likely countless more) it might be beneficial to have some webpage devoted to all past story entries, so players can read up on them!
As well as any other lore-tidbits that might be of interest to the general public…
Whilst not exactly following stereotypical Sylvari naming patterns, I appreciate the comedy. 7/10.
My Sylvari Guardian’s name is Devharrel, and his companion, the Sylvari Elementalist, Orinthia.
Khazrak Steelrage? I like it! Very warrior-sounding. A solid 8/10, it’s just about Charr enough!
Oscarl Snagtooth, male charr warrior (as with everyone else, kitten I feek vad for rolling the most overplayed combo) & Kiara Snagclaw, female charr ranger!
Two casual players here looking for a friendly guild/environment to settle into on Piken Square, one Charr warrior and another Norn mesmer.
I, (the charr) mainly enjoy WvW and other such content, whilst my companion (the norn) mainly enjoys PvE content, although we’re both partial to both really – in that essence we’re looking for a well rounded guild! Not too big, not too small. Just somewhere we can fit in really.
We do have canon names, though roleplay isn’t our main interest. Social is the key point.
Thank you for your considerations, message me up sometime!
