Instead of making harder content for EVERYONE. Try what Guild Wars did and put in a toggle for hard mode if its too easy and you want more challenge rather than increase the difficulty for everyone regardless of skill level. Also, if you increase the difficulty, you should increase the rewards in order to make it worthwhile doing the harder content.

It seems to not matter what you use, the damage gets reset when he lands again…and again…and again.

By the way, this also occurs on Maguuma world.

For the last few days the Claw of Jormag has not been working correctly in Frostgorge Sound. The dragon keeps landing and going away and the ice wall cannot be damaged. I put in an in-game bug report and thought it would have been fixed on patch day Tuesday, but no patch happened. What is the ETA on the fix on this dragon event? Everyone is missing out on some good dragon action and loot due to this bug

From what I have seen of the Tequatl fight, it is nearly impossible to win and I don’t believe the claims that some server has beat it. What happens if after the 2 weeks are up that nobody has beaten it? This is an epic fail on Arena Net’s part. We need better gear and weapons to beat the new Tequatl using any of the described tactics. If Arena Net keeps limiting our ability to fight and win and also limiting our ability to gear up, I will be done playing GW2. The fun of playing this game is getting ruined by the changes, in my opinion. I don’t think this post will make any difference though. I will be watching how these 2 weeks go and what the next event will be to decide if I continue to play this game or not. I would like to know who asked for higher difficulty with lesser chances to get better gear, it wasn’t me. Unless they nerf this dragon, I don’t think anyone will be getting any of the stated drops or rewards from the meta event. I had high hopes for GW2 after having such a good time playing the first Guild Wars. Those hopes are now diminishing after seeing the last few changes that have been made to the game.

I completed both Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau on 9/14/2013 and didn’t get any reward for completion. I am wondering if there is a bug or is it because I am level 80 when completing them.

Anet’s decision to limit how many times I can get a chest from a boss has limited the chances a player has to get a precursor for a legendary weapon. I don’t understand why Anet wants to limit how many of these are dropped, but it stinks that so many lucky players who were able to farm dragons and other boss chests for these precursors before Anet changed it. I have been working on getting a drop of a precursor for almost a year now and am extremely frustrated at this situation. I do not and can not understand nor support why Anet wants to change the game so drastically for the worse. Well, I don’t think this post will change anything but I felt that I had to vent my frustration over this here.

I was in the middle of the event when there was a mandatory restart due to update being available. After I got back in game, there was no more event to do, just a red lettered message saying there is no attack on the world I was on. Will Arenanet do anything to make it up to us?

From posts here in the forums it seems that response time is situational, from a few hours up to a week.

Just try resubmitting the information a second time after it has been denied and I bet it will go through. I had the same problem using my card for gems but worked when I resubmitted.

I wonder if this ban on botting affected as many players as the one in August banning people for a variety of things but affected 3,000 players. From the forums postings here, it seems to be a rather large issue. They did state in an earlier post on this thread that they will not be monitoring this thread for tickets its just a venting thread I think. I am speculating they rolled out an automated system to try to get the bots out of the game and it isn’t working properly. I certainly hope that they compensate us for being wrongfully accused of botting for those who were just playing normally but stepped away for a bit to get a drink or use the bathroom. I also hope they get on the ball and resolve it quickly so we can resume playing our characters and buying gems. The true bots have long names made up of random letters and run around in circles killing anything and everything in a small area. Those bots I am sure are still playing while we real players sit in the ban box. We can only hope they decide to not use an automated system but live humans to review and ban real bots and not us real players.

It seems, from seeing alot of posts on this issue, that this is a larger issue than Arenanet is admitting to. Gaile Gray has been deleting all the posts. I too have been permanently banned from the game saying that I was doing botting. But I wasn’t, I was just playing the game for long hours since I have the time and, up until being banned, I loved the game. I hope this issue gets resolved with accounts that are innocent of any violation being reinstated. I didn’t spend my time on my GuildWars account to build it up, linking it to my GW2 account, then spending hours building my character in GW2 to just throw it all away. This post will probably be deleted too though. One week is a long time to wait for a response I think. They should be able to give a decision and explanation in much less time.

I got blocked today while I was playing the game. This is ridiculous. I should be compensated in some way for this inconvenience of not being able to play now. I wasn’t doing any botting or anything like that. I also wasn’t buying or selling gold. I was just playing the game like you are supposed to be able to do. I hope they correct this issue.

I think that any profession you want to try would be great. I made a Silvari warrior at first but didn’t like how he played so I then made a Sylvari Elementalist and love it. Rangers make sense due to Sylvari being made from nature, but they are also magical so any of the magical professions also make alot of sense. But I think that other professions are necessary in any society so to balance the society of Sylvari they would need all professions. I would say pick a profession that you would enjoy playing, since that is the whole point of playing a game in the first place.

I think that the downleveling feature is one of the best features of the game. You could as a high level still be challenged in low level areas. You should still be able to help your low level friends, but not be able to powerlevel them, which I think this complaint is about. I have played other games where the feel is somewhat ruined by a high level in a low level area powerleveling their friend. I am glad they have this feature to stop powerleveling.

Will there be a feature to allow for a character’s name to be changed to one we had in Guild Wars? I was wondering since they will be releasing reserved names next week and I really want to rename one of my characters at least.
