Fixed: Changed from “offline” to “online” by accessing friends list from character select. Try messing with your online/offline status before trying to enter a map, see if that fixes it. worked for me.

running the -repair on client has fixed this issue for me.
How do you use that?
create a shortcut then on the properties option on target after gw2.exe" -repair
run that shortcut after
Same here , Internet is working fine. characters are in Lions arch (3 of them) 1 in queensdale, 1 in the shaterrers area. tried the repair fix .. didnt work.
