Yes you are at a disadvantage. You need 400 in 2 crafting professions to make 1 legendary, which two you need is based on the legendary, and its different for each of them, and there are some overlaps.
Regardless though, which crafting profession you need isn’t top priority until you have OVER 525k karma, and 500 or more of the last 4 tiers of metals/wood/cloth, plus a ton of gold.
Reporting them for botting is probably the best you can do. Too bad they will damage the economy, how ever little, before it gets fixed, or they get banned.
There’s tons of people doing this in the 80 zones, I saw the same guy in the same spot for 3 days straight. Reported him each day hoping to not see him the next…
I was doing the Eternal battle ground jump puzzle and everything was fine until I got to the monster area part, after the dark room you need torches to get through. A player from my server was playing with the trap to release the various monsters in that room, and I was working my way up to the next area. I was on the left side of minotaur door (if you were outside looking into the cage), when he triggered that cage open.
I then fell/slide into the terrain behind it and couldn’t get back out because it was too steep of a jump, and the area I was able to move around in was rather small with several invisible walls blocking movement. Thankfully I didn’t need to waypoint out as I was somehow able to jump back out when the door shut again and they became friendly.
Anyways just reporting that so it will hopefully get fixed before it happens to anyone else. I could try to get a screenshot of where I fell in or even try to replicate it when I get on later tonight.
I was unclear wit the point I was trying to make and I apologize. I understood his post as complaining that the stats were being scaled down too much versus because scaled inconsistently, one level getting the full 50 power but going down only 1 level and getting only 12.
So my first post was saying that even with the scaling down, the content is too easy, and I have gotten complaints from people that were level appropriate saying they were not getting credit for events because I would kill everything before they got a chance to hit them.
So yes I agree the scaling needs to be more consistent assuming that is what he was getting at in his first post.
Sorry if this post isn’t forum appropriate, but where is the secret chantry, because I am at 95% completion and I don’t want to run into the same problem, and also was the a meta reward for finishing all zones?
Has anyone here done the “missing butler” path in explorer mode for cadecus manor? The latter have seems extremely over tuned, having to fight against around 10 or more silver mobs with several normals throw in, while getting destroyed by randomly spawning spike traps that do 2500 damage.
There have been situations where my character greets a new character that I have never seen before as if they had done a mission with each other prior to. Then on the next quest I was formally introduced “for the first time” to said character. You can probably imagine how lost I was
Same for thiefs as far as I can see, I get no options for elite skills, even though I am sure some should work underwater.
Basilisk Venom works underwater, It’s the only elite skill that does for thief and its pretty subpar to be honest, at least for most underwater encounters, especially considering that it has an interruptable cast time.
Also all skills will display a water droplet with a red X over it, next to the cooldown, and cost icons, denouncing that its not usable underwater, have you looked at all of your elite skills, even the ones you don’t own, to see if they have that icon?
Well great job getting that far without dying. Sadly I’m fairly confident it is broken for everyone right now.
I don’t think there was ever the option to preview stuff on the trading post, but it is a much welcome feature that they should add. Second hand linking would also be nice, either from the trading post or from links in chat. For example, seeing a link in map chat and being able to relink it into guild chat.
Has happened to me as well where I get stuck in some rocks and I can’t get out of them because of an invisible barrier. Ive done it more than twice and it’s frustrating because the only way to generally get out is waypoint out most of the time, generally after you die because you have no idea where you are or where you are facing or what is attacking you, partially due to how clunky the camera is.
I disagree, considering that with double exotic weapons and a full set of yellows I one shot mobs with the first part of my number 1 skill in low level zones, veterans are a breeze and I can almost solo champions. Of course that’s slightly different in a dungeon, but dungeons aren’t a matter of dealing the most damage its more of a matter of control the mobs with CC.
What about dungeons, even if they aren’t supposed to count towards the total, have you at least entertained the idea of getting them all?
I think what needs to happen is, selecting a new target needs to happen on key RELEASE instead of key PRESS. So when you are attacking something and you wanna look around, you left click to move your camera. As of right now if you do that and your mouse was over anything thing else at all, whether it be friendly, pet, or object. It will select what ever your mouse was over as well as turn your camera. Very unintuitive/
I don’t like how you remain in combat no matter what if you still have a debuff on you.
Personally I can live with that because then you at least have some kind of count down of when it will drop, but it does suck if you are going to die because of those conditions on you and having so little hp left after killing something.
When was the last time you checked that skill point at the south west, because it was broken for awhile after release, but I went and did it personally either last Friday or Saturday and had guildies claiming it was working before I went there
Yea I have done that a few times myself, but that feels like cheating. There are occasions when its warranted (being at the very top of a jump puzzle and nothing is any where close to you).
But there’s also times where you could climp up a mini jump puzzle to get to a vista with several krait in pursuit, for example, and just log out to character select when you get to the top despite having about 10 of them about to kill you. Log back in, they are all gone, and you are still alive, and out of combat as far as viewing the vista is concerned.
The second example feels very exploity, and I don’t think its something the developers intended, when they designed it.
Some one in map chat said that bonus exp is based on how long the mob has been alive for, the longer it has been alive the more exp you get. I know it’s not directly related to the problems you guys (and myself) have been having, but it might fit under the “encourages exploration” that the bonus exp promotes.
Have any of you tried increasing the range of you aoe farming “circuit”?
Sorry if there was another post to this, but I wanted to make a topic with a clearer title.
Are there any plans to fix this? Or at least make the “rule” of how to drop out of combat a little more consistent. Sometimes it works just fine and I drop combat when there hasn’t been a mob or player hitting me for over 30 seconds and then there’s been times where I have been stuck with almost no hp and moving slower for over 5 minutes.
It seems that you need to get a certain horizontal distance away from what ever put you in combat, it will drop and everything goes back to normal, but if you get away from the target vertically (jump puzzle), you seem to never drop combat. And if you go into stealth and move away from a mob combat will never drop until you fight a new mob, and then it only has a slight chance of actually dropping after killing the new mob.
Anyways I was just hoping if we could get an idea of what conditions must be met to actually drop combat because they seem all too inconsistent.
PS I lost a 3v1 fight because it didn’t drop combat after I killed the first person and the other 2 people were hiding around a corner, and I did see their hp regen while mine sat there doing nothing. /RAGE
