Title sounds depressing, but it’s the harsh truth! ):
I’m a PvE-orientated person, so I’m hoping to join a guild with members that enjoy doing events. By that, I don’t mean just waiting for World bosses, but a group of people who would do chain events like the long ones at Harathi, Temples at Orr, Southsun etc. That saying, I don’t mind trying out WvW – I’ve only been there once, and all I did was follow the crowd… (I’m pretty sure that’s not how I’m supposed to play the game.)
I’m still very new to the game (less than a month and only one level80), so it’d be great if I can make a few friends who won’t mind endless list of newbie questions, exploring maps and leveling new characters – it’s very boring and lonely to go roaming Tyria alone ):
I play on Borlis Pass but can guest, and I don’t mind using voicechat programs (not much of a talker because I’m shy, not arrogant!).
Hopefully someone will pick up this lost soul! -fingers crossed-
I’ve been playing GW2 for around 3weeks with a small group of friends – they’ve been playing much longer than I have, so I’ve been taken along to do Fractals and dungeon runs (So far I’ve done HoTW, AC and one of the paths of Arah). So while I do have some experience with dungeons, it’s only because I’m being carried by experienced players.
However, they are usually only free during weekends, so most of the time I end up playing solo. Before my character reached level80, I was able to keep myself occupied by doing Hearts and events; now that my first character has reached level80, I find myself lacking motivation to play as my ‘daily’ routine would be: complete dailies, fight the common world bosses, harvest at Orr, Southsun and Frostgorge.
I haven’t completed 100% a lot of maps on my first character, but it gets boring doing it alone, especially since I just avoid fights by running from one POI to another.
I actually would very much like to do the Temple events at Orr, but every time I post at mapchat if anyone is up for some sort of escort event or risen priestess, no one replies, and it’s almost impossible for me to solo temple bosses.
So I guess what I’m looking for is a group that enjoys the exploration bit of GW2 – I actually would love to help with personal stories!
