I just wanted to add an additional thank you. Hands down the most well thought out and the most fleshed out holiday event ever. Even the small slights like the BLC and the rare chance for skins was quickly rectified, and I for one am blown away by the amount of time and effort put into a simple holiday. The player vs player mods are incredible. The art, the story, the flavor have all been top notch.
Playing as a last standing villager in the Lunatic Inquisition was some of the most thrilling and heart racing gaming I’ve had in forever. And Rumbler’s Reaper was fresh and fun and I loved the environmental mechanics. I kind of wish these two mods wouldn’t go away after the holiday. The Clock Tower made me want to yell at my monitor when I missed the final jump before I eventually completed it. The costumes, the crafting, costume brawl: I could go on and on but I think even I’m sounding like an Anet plant. =)
This praise comes from a generally harsh critic of gaming. In closing, keep up the great work. Sincerely excited for the final acts.
I just want to add my voice against the growing chorus of opposition. I absolutely LOVED the jump tower. It was very difficult which was the primary thing I loved. I knew it was possible but I just needed to better myself and stop making small mistakes with each jump, and eventually I mastered it segment by segment until finally I cleared it. Not only was I exhilarated in finally finishing it, but the struggle made the eventual completion that much sweeter.
Not that I don’t have criticisms. Sure when I was running with two norns, and a char it became very difficult to see; perhaps next time normalize all of the characters into a costume—like a skeleton. That way they are all the same size and it would eliminate 90% of the complaints. It was an optional event with rewards that were good, but not by any means game breaking.
I sincerely hope that Anet continues to create events like these. I for one am impressed with their work on the Halloween event thus far.

Also want to report this as well. This is a serious exploit of jumping over the door to trigger the final event, and then restarting the previous event to complete and get a second chest reward from the final event. I was belittled because I didn’t want to jump over and told my group that doing it the legit way was still easy enough.
