i keep getting this error i tend to find out log out play another char for 30 secs then relog other char but thats beside the point there is an obvious issue and it needs addressing.

not sure if its happening when trying to go to a contested waypoint anyone else found this?

i am a member of Celtic Fist (technically the community still exists albeit not very active it just doesnt run a guild in any game currently. we were last active in WoW).

the last time i saw VGN was in warhammer couldnt say what happened to LA or DH.

back on topic HB hasnt copied anyones playstyle we were rolling how we are long before we even knew RG was playing the game. we moved to blackgate very early on in the game and we played a low tier server well 2 actually before making the decision to move to NA with a number of other guilds till RG showed on JQ i personally had no knowledge of them even playing the game last id heard of em was back in daoc.

RG are by a country mile the best guild i have come across they are disciplined and fully understand the capabilities and weaknesses of a class and what makes them all the more deadly they have years of experience. they also spec to a pure skirmish build which cannot be countered effectively by a more rounded build this is why they tend to dominate everyone they come up against we have discussed the fights we have had with RG and we are confident we could go toe to toe with them if we were willing to respec our builds but we arent we want to be a force to be reckoned with but one that also can do the important stuff like take keeps and keep the PPT up.

there are many other noteworthy guilds out there too many to name we all have our successes and deafeats even the mighty RG there are many guilds who have been steamrolled by some of the more powerful guilds but they still come back and never quit to me that is a powerful guild i think the Tarnished coast guilds embody this spirit more than any other server ive faced.

Not that I can point a specific post out but didn’t JQ actually claim to be stacking their server with transfers? Wasn’t that actually in multiple posts? Then you getting a bit crazy saying its propaganda? SoS gets flooded (literally) Aus players.. hope things dry out for you soon. Transfers come in on other servers. Its simple. Good game to all. When the winning server comes out and kittens all over the place its ugly. You had the chance to be graceful in your powerful win. You blew that class act. There is next week.

its a shame T1 and T2 is a one horse race now if this last week is anything to go by hopefully the up and coming servers will make T2 a bit more competitive T3 looks like thats where all the frantic action is going to be next week.
but thxs for the fun fights JQ and SoS am sure BG will be back next week just hope its SoR which stays up so we can go toe to toe with em again

be interesting to see how SoR fair in T1 tihnk they in for a bit of a shock tbh

make sure you make a mess of SoS please SoR because BG is itching to square off with you again

i love blackgate we started off on EU and we just didnt feel like we could contribute maybe it was due to poor server choice i dunno but we finally decided that US servers was the way to go we landed on blackgate and we have never looked back. At no point have we thought lets try XXX server. the community is fantastic and enthusiastic when it comes to WvW and we really were welcomed with open arms.

i have had the privilige of listening to our commander chat and i must admit its highly organised the commanders of the major guilds constantly keep each other updated about whats going on. there is no kitten wars with commanders trying to better each other they just work well together and want the best for BG

blackgate is my home even tho we have taken a beating last week with alot of the guild transfers to SoS and JQ im still proud to say my server went toe to toe with JQ and SoS and didnt back down. once you come BG you will not be sorry you did.
we wont guarntee you victory but we will guarntee you one hell of a fight

to the best of my knowledge Blackgate has very small if any queue times for the pacific time frame? i think that is what you are referring to except for possibly reset night

Sigh i am sure i made it clear in my post it WAS NOT a 2v1 whine if you read earlier comments in this thread you will see what i mean JQ and SoS made it quite clear to BG that we were a softer target we also stayed in our own bl which harmed us tbh but im not gonna get drawn into an argument over it read into the post what you will its merely a prediction of the coming week lets see how it pans out just wish i could play tonite kitten net died >.<

lol make no mistake they aint gonna be fighting each other they are gonna do exactly what they have been doing and saying they are doing this week and that is hit BG and hit it hard as they have already said its easier to get ppt from a weaker server than hit the no1 server etc they will roll BG before they hit each other make no mistake.

and please dont mistake this for a 2v1 whine it isnt just stating the obvious.

this is the problem we are faced with now, guilds who want to play at top tier want to make sure they can stay in top tier so theres only 2 choices currently SoS or JQ as they have proven they are not going anywhere in other words they are a safe bet. BG may give them a run for their money. but we will eventually take a dive back into t2 if we keep coming 3rd and thats why we are seeing guilds high profile guilds giving us the slip. its a sad situation but i honestly think T1 will become a 2 horse race in the future if guilds keep flocking to these 2 servers. the likes of BG SBI even SoR who have really raised there game over the past few weeks will likely flip between T1 and T2

cant say i personally am that bothered i played hib in daoc im used to be outnumbered but i know how damaging to server morale constant defeat can be

all i can say is any guilds thinking of moving before the deadline obviously give BG a chance to impress you we really do have the potential to be no1 we just need the numbers to back it up. our smaller grps and pugs have really done us proud this week with doly and camp protection. and if you dont want to give BG a go then seriously consider SBI and SoR these servers are very strong, and will no doubt be eager to knock BG back down to T2 i know SoR have there eyes set on a T1 position

yes its very good but you have to play it smart to get the most out of it.
the necro is a very versatile class but you have to spec for the situations you are hoping to get into

i run in a medium sized guild grp usually around 20+ as such ive built my class around that i run with knights gear and run a well spec i use plague as my elite as it pretty much doubles your hp. traits are 0,10,20,30,10 if you like im a vamp build.

the necro is incredibly tough to kill if specced right DS is like a 2nd health bar and plague pretty much doubles your HP

i can basically run into a zerg drop a shed load of aoe be it dmg condition removal etc and still have the ability to get out of there if things turn bad dont get me wrong alot of this is down to the guild i run with they are incredibly organised i use my abilities more as a aid to the dps classes than dealing actual damage myself which is why i am build with survivability in mind.

with any class your build and armor depends on how you are going to roll

not sure why there is so much hate directed towards BG tbh and HB seems to be targetted quite strongly over a video really? i can only assume we are doing something right. the video was a simple message to let you know about our guild and what we bring to the table read whatever else into it you please. it was supposed to be provocative we wanted you to come at us guns blazing and by christ you did but we have more than proved ourselves

early hours today (EU) were demoralising after such a strong start, i think we suffered a bit of a burnout we arent used to such a tough fight but we will get used to that. we (blackgate)could have rolled over and thought kitten it. but ya know what we havent. ive seen small guilds working together to get our towers and keeps back and listening to our more established guilds. ye the organisation isnt quite there yet but its something that has to be worked on. we have a strong EU presence and thats the time we need to dominate on to make up for our shortfall in other time zones. i think tonight we have done admirably considering we were down to 15 ppt at one point today

also JQ and SOS know each other inside out you know who to be wary of and who you dont need to really worry about. you know each others tactics and how to counter them BG still has all that to learn and we will.

i dont know if we will make it in T1 i hope so i firmly believe this is where BG belongs and we have worked hard in game and out of game to make sure we moved back up to T1 we certainly have no intention of going back to T2 in disgrace

oh and just a footnote ive been playing mmo’s now for pretty much 13 years and thats the pvp rvr wvwvw call it what you will, aspect of the games and smokee is up there with the best no one is more dedicated to the cause than him its actually quite scary at times.

anyway lets keep teh battles in game not on the forums had some great fights tonight in EB keep em coming

really enjoyed T1 so far, the fights are good and we are certainly been kept on our toes, the garrison fights have been epic. unfortunately T1 has just highlighted that our coverage isnt as good as it could be. but im sure that will change if we can stay in T1 for a few weeks. all WvWvW minded people are welcome on BG
