I had exactly the same thing as your “1st” point. We didn’t find a solution either :/ does someone know more of this?

Illconceived Was Na.9781:

• Walk onto the ‘floor’ that sits above the water.
• Logout the character.
• When you log back in, the ‘floor’ will be gone and you can proceed as if you placed the statue head in the mortar.
