What ever is to come, I’d like you guys to take your time, and make it right, don’t rush it, don’t let your fans pressure you. People back in the day were just as eager as they are now, they just didn’t have social media etc. to pressure and hound companies into early releases like they do now.
As well, I’m hoping to see a new dungeon or something.

I’m sorry if they have been and I’m just bringing up an old topic, but I’d like to hear on the topic and know if this was shelved entirely or if you plan to bring in birthday gifts at any point in the future.
Is there a reason that you the Dev’s have strayed away from the traditional yearly gifting system?
I miss having yearly rewarded items based on my characters overall age and having a chance to get a common item vs. a more rare item that could be sold on the market or simply showed off.
Perhaps you could do random weapons, or make a rare chance of getting a legendary component weapon?
I’ve mentioned the speed gear/gems earlier.
Can we get some gear with a Karma % boost as well?
Example;
Diamond Orbs – 3% Speed Boost (Maximum speed boost from armor 20%?)
Jade Orb – 3% Extra Karma from events (Max bonus Karma gain from events 20%?)
And make a couple new ruins/ sigils/ infusions that might give a little more of the bonus but takes it to the maximum.
PS. When I say maximum given by your armor, I mean every thing you wear. Rings, accessories etc. You can only gain the above bonuses via equipment to that maximum percentage. This of course does stack with skills and other items.

But would it be a possibility to make a new Gem of some sort either a Diamond or something that increased Movement speed? And then put a cap on possible movement speed increased by armor by like 25-30%?
I’m not quite sure how to start this off. I want to keep it simple…
When you post something, there is a listing fee, clearly, based on the amount of money you would like to make on your sale. The “listing” fee also applies when you do an auto sale to an offered amount as well… why is that, if I am not “listing”?
Second. If someone undercuts my items price after I’be listed it. And oh say, it’s worth 20 gold like I did earlier today, and I want to list it again, I do not get my listing fee that the item cost back?
And on TOP of that, there is a “projected profit” / a “percentage we will take from you” after the item sells as well. This was not in Guild Wars when it first released… why was it added?
My biggest pet peeve is the not giving me back the listing fee when ever I need to relist something in order to even sell it. Ebay doesn’t charge me a listing fee unless I actually make the sale and if I pull it down to alter the price, or to cancel the item the fee is also canceled.
Someone in my guild told me they accidentally listed an item for like 160 or some gold. And the listing fee was like 15g. That they could no longer get back.
Can you not get them in PvE? :’( I wish there were more available items for PvE. u.u
I’m sorry, let me speak in lame mans terms, 100% WORLD. You don’t get 1 item for a map completion, full world gives you the most useless reward of all.

Was suggested, and probably has been several times. Maybe, you should actually listen to peoples suggestions on reward issues.
Why do I get 1 lousy item, no money, no karma, not a single thing when I get 100% map completion?
Why are rewards in general lacking? Why is it that every time someone finds a decent legit way to make money in the game you nerf the hell out.
I love the game, the game play, I hate the rewards, and all the constant nerfing all in the name of maintaining a communistic quality to the game. No one is allowed to get ahead of anyone else unless they grind non stop or pay you a ton of money for gems.
I loved this game, and still do, but my love is kinda wavering at this point.
I’ve been a GW player since the first released. I loved it, there was still some way to make a little extra money or get big rewards. In GW2 a big reward is unheard of. It’s dull and boring not getting good rewards for big accomplishments.
Why not just spend the extra 600 gems and keep them in the bank?
Idk, it seems ugly to me. I already have 8 character slots and over time that space fills fast. I played GW1 for a long time, since the release way back when. Trust me, space will be much needed, and some people actually like collecting a full stack of each material / like holding on to a specific material to collect.
They may be rare for some I guess, but really they gather fast if you farm in the right spots.
I get Pile of Putrid Essence all day long if I farm grubs, and Ectos you get 1 – 3 per a salvage of a rare/epic item lvl 70+.
Even in GW1 they had storage for all the materials. I just figure it would be nice to have in GW2 and I don’t think it would be that difficult to make it available. I’d be willing to spend the 1000 gems to unlock the extra material space for other materials.
What do you mean by rare materials? Rare collectibles for crafting already have a collectibles slot.
As for expansion cost you can expand your bank for 600gems for 30 slots.
I’m talking about things like Destroyer Sliver, Globs of Ectoplasm, and Shards etc.
There is no storage for them and they are farmable materials.
I’d like to suggest expanding the storage space of collectables to cover rare materials.
OR
Make it an option to purchase the additional space with gems. Oh say 1000 gems? Since it will most likely be account wide.
I suggested this several times during the beta.
Please make it a possibility for people to open a trade window with someone and do a 1 on 1 trade vs the mailing system.
As for dungeons;
Please make the rewards in explorable dungeons worth the trouble of getting? Or at least, tone down the monsters difficulties. Have you guys tried playing the explorable level 50-55 dungeon in the Sylvari area? My lord, it makes Zhaitan’s dungeon / 3 vs 10 in WvW feel like a light breeze.
I don’t mind a difficult dungeon, but there needs to be some balance between how hard explorable is and the reward for completion as well. The 25 tokens I got for completing the human starting area dungeon seemed a bit lame considering the cost of the weapons. I don’t want to grind a dungeon 6 times to get 1 piece of the cheapest armor and 12 times to get another. Either that, or lower the cost of the gear?
I don’t know, just please do something, I’m not trying to be whiny. Simply stating it seems like it isn’t really balanced. Arah story mode seems fair in it’s difficulty level, if only it had about 40 – 50 tokens attached to it as an award.
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel dungeon rewards / difficulty needs to be balanced.
I didn’t see if this was fixed anywhere in any of the updates. Is this personal story working now?
I have completed the Romke’s Final Voyage personal story, 3 times.
I got to the part where you have to return to the beach to complete / finish up the quest, and it boots me. I did this 2 times the day before, and just now. It just kicks me out to the start of the quest again beck in the world to where I have to enter the instance again.
I’m trying my hardest to maintain my self, this is extremely frustrating.
I really don’t want to do this a 4th time.
