Since all stances favour power builds and torment seems dumb on a melee character i was wondering if condi rev is even a thing?
I’ve already asked that question and the answer is NO. Sadly to know that cuz I like Condi more.
Condi DPS is twice weaker than Power.
1) if you limit yourself and you’re unhappy, it’s your own fault
2) you can get plenty of damage out of Mace/Axe

Condi Revenant DPS is very weak since the targets should move all the time to get good damage. Will be there some changes for Condi Revenant to increase its DPS?
I’m one of that crazy guys who likes visuals first of all so it’s more fun to me to play Revenant with mace+axe. Also, I don’t like that fact that I should again use Berserker staff and kill my foes with autoattack :/ (since sword autottack is OP)

no. I made a full Viper ascended set with Sinister trinkets and its garbage. Its very fun, but the dps is beyond awful.

I tryed new raid today with Revenant. Everything seems fine except few things:
1. Did someone killed 1st boss?
I was in a group of 10 ppl – 1 druid, 4 condis, 5 zerkers.
We made a really lot of tries, on our best try we died on 8th minute and boss had like 40% of health. We were all alive on that doomed 8 minute but then we were killed by lightening still if we weren’t be dead we won’t kill it anyway.
Did we do something wrong? Or boss is really that hard?!
2. The most annoying problem is that I BARELY SAW red circles under the boss cuz there was soooooo much skill effects around it… Because of that I was teleported away many times. And that’s bad for melees.
I played as a condi Revenant so I had a lot of red\black visuals which complicated the seeing of red circles even more
Any ideas?

Today I decided to turn off mostly all sound effect except the Effects to hear clear effects sound (Sorry for tautology. And I want to say I was amazed! <3
I want to say “THANK YOU” for Revenant visuals at first – whatever ppl saying about Herald spec – I like it. I like every skill and sound you make with Revenant. You’ve created an ideal class for me and I cannot wait for 23\10
Druid and Reaper sound effects are must be thanked individually Druid sounds so cosmic and so atmospheric <3 Reaper sounds like summoning the Voodoo ritual (3d skill of GS is perfectly amazing) <3<3<3
So, yeah, as I said – THANK YOU VERY MUCH, guys. You did a good work here. Whole atmosphere of the new expansion is amplified with each new elite spec individually.
Build I settled into for my playstyle for BWE3 Druid after a few hours of experimenting:
Druid Feedback:
1) Astral Force gains too slow on damage
a. Please make it 1.5%2) Wyvern knockback is extremely annoying
a. Please make it a knockdown
b. Attack speeds are way too slow
c. AOE was where it was at and not where it need to be (in melee range)3) Nearly no damage done in Astral Form
a. Add damage4) Quick Draw doesn’t work with the staff
a. Make it work5) Natural Convergence radius too small
a. Needs 600 unit range6) Can’t blast my own water field when in Astral Form. Meaning, when I hit 4 it takes so long to change by the time I hit three and the blast hits, the water field is already gone.
a. Make it so I can blast my own water field in Astral Form7) Natural Convergence rooting… ain’t worth it for the risk
a. Please increase the damage8) Staff damage on 1-5 is just pitiful
a. Increase it substantially9) Healing Glyph on is bad
a. Can barely feel it10) Glyphs in general aren’t worth taking
a. Add some additional effects (like stun break and stability aoe or offensive boons) and/or damage
b. Range needs to be 360 range default on all of them
c. Elite needs 600 range11) Heal Scaling is still bad
a. Astral Form doesn’t burst heal for enough
b. Add better healing coefficients12) Liked the Tiger and Smokescale pets
a. Didn’t use the Bristleback but that bug is annoying when it can block most of my screenPre-Edit: It takes too long to build astral force without healing… Pretty sure that was intended though.
I double this. If you’d do as this gentleman said Druid would be totally the best class ever made.
P.S. I just wanted to say A BIG THANK YOU for reallyreallyreally cool visuals for every new Elites (and Revenant). You’ve made a realy good job at this. A lot of ppl could say that visuals are not the main aspect of the game but for me its a big +.

I’m currently at a love hate relation with the druid… parts of it I love, other parts I hate, and to make it short about what I hate, is basically just broken down, that anet messed up the ration between nature theme and astral theme for my taste..
Thie concept looks on paper like 80% astral and 20% nature.
The whole concept would work and come over for my opinion alot better, if the design of this Elite-Specialization would have been more like a 50/50 thing, balanced between both themes, so that the player can decide for his/herself, what kind of theme they like more…Under the current design, this specissame as worse as like the Dragonhunter, just only that it has a good fitting name instead that is actually worth it to be called a profession, where Dragonhunter is nothing but a generic title that everyone wears and not a specialized profession…
I personally expected the design to be more biologically theme, more about true NATURE MAGIC, that fits to a jungle!!!
its in the design, yes, but as said for my taste way too much underrepresentated in comparison to the superior celestial part of the whole design.I can accept astral powers based on the sun, moon and stars as being part of the nature in a higher concept, but from a lore perspective, this whole design screams just massively out loud FAIL, what wouldnt just be the case, if the design around this Spec would be more mixed in a 50/50 ratio.
It all comes down again like with the Dragonhunter due to the reason of ANte making terrible naming decicions (for trying hard to make everything look over unique) and trying to mix multiple themes into one spec, which seem to look like black and white with each other (Trapper + Witchhunter + Paragon + Dragon Design Elite to just justify the terible name as a cover for the sole reason of existance for this design being Brahams revenge for Eirs death being forced upon our throatsfor why he becomes a DH, where thank god the Druid is just story neutral like all other E-Specs except the DH…)I would have expected persionally a kind of Astrologist E-Spec rather under the Mesmer as a kind of Visionary for the maybe next round of E-Specs, because it would fit them imo alot better, instead of that theme beign merged into tzhe nature part of the Druid (where it makes thematically sense yes, but as i would compare it with the DH, sometimes is simly less just more, less try hard over uniqueness would suit here just better to the whole game)

Okay, guys. I see your point of view.
Despite of our different imagination of what natural spells are (I still think that Solar\Lunar spells are kinda astral spells :P) all I want is possibility to damage in Celestial form. You know, I’ve been playing Ranger from the very beginning and I’d like to see another damage skills since I play most of the time alone. I would realy appreciate that my Ranger would get another skill set with another weapon and visuals just to do story\exploring alone. Why do I want to damage in Celestial form? Because I don’t want to just pass through such cool spell (despite even that it not meets my expectations of more natural tree-leafy-spirit-whatever form). Since my druid have it why can’t I just use it to dps to?
Make it just a li’l bit more powerfull than staff. I’m OK with that I won’t play as DPS in Raids as druid. But I’m think that it’s unfair to take our opportunity to deal damage in Celestial form.
It’s like to have a big candy but you HAVE to eat it with wrapper

people wont be happy when their favorite class and play style as dps was changed to a full time healer. you should understand that not anyone will just accept garbage like this because majority of the people who chose this class is not to heal but to kick butts and feel like they are baddazz, now its a healer lol! what a joke!

This is a MESS!! just in my opinion, basically all other elite specs are dps and then made ranger a full healer type which bothers me ALLOT!. ANET wants the ranger players to focus on healing when we chose this class solely because of its dps strength! so many class that are outclassing Rangers now and a/t and s/d are now boring. tried longbow condi just for fun and now the class that I like because its play style and dps are flushed down the toilet. I was hoping for an elite spec that can benefit on both support with a good assist on boosting dps or at least an offensive trait that can help utilize its strength even just 1. I can’t believe I am saying this but I guess I am done expecting good things from GW2 and time to stop playing again. I am not leaving just because they did not deliver what I want, I am stopping with GW2 because none of the elite made any changes beside to make most players look like an idiot to suddenly change their favorite class just because of the elite crap they made that is out of our style. thanks ANET for making me realize that this game is a waste of time.. who ever worked on druid should have never been hired, necros are gonna rule the game.

ArenaNET just broke my heart with Druids. I’ve yelled “Nooooooo” through all Twitch druid presentation.
First of all, they broke my favorite part of this game – no tanks\healers
Second, I waited for this elite spec from the very beginning. I was so hyped when I saw it in the trailer. I thought that it will be a cool dps spec with staff… you know you pewpew with thorns, call for razor-leaf AoE tornado, roots, etc. I waited for spirit skills re-done (so the spirits would be like here: huge’n’awesome http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/9/9e/Sylvari_09_concept_art_%28The_Druid%29.jpg)
Third, I’m OK with healing\support but for the f@cks sake, why can’t we do some dps in dang Celestial form? That spell is worthless if you play alone then. (I play alone most of the time)
Fourth, I didn’t wait for solar\lunar magic for ranger.
They just created another World-Of-Warcraft-like druid. I’d say just exact copy. Boomkin form + Tree spells + some boomkin visuals = Druid in GW2. I don’t wanna play another WoW. This is not why I quit WoW.

Devs, please, PLEASE!!! Make Celestial skills to do heals AND damage!
This form is awesome and I’d like to use not only for healings in PvE\PvP
