You have to do events to open up that area. It’s closed until the event chain opens it up.

From the wiki:

“If the POI is inaccessible, complete any event occurring nearby or start the event “Drive the ogres from their watchtower by killing their scouts” by talking to Dyrala Ogrestalker who is found south of Watchcrag Tower Waypoint. "

Try finding that NPC or doing any other event in that immediate area and waiting. If no events pop, then yeah, you may be screwed. But guesting and then trying on that guested world should work.

the problem is that the nearby event is stuck and all the friendly NPCs can’t be spoken to. This Dylara doesn’t react in any way

In Plains of Ashford for a week or so there is a bug in Cadem Forest area – the closed entrance to the point of interest " Stonecrag Kraal" cannont be broken, so people can’t map complete this instance. Moreover, the event to the south of this POI is also bugged – the WP is contested, but event doesn’t progress.
P.S. My server is Gandara, but guesting other servers didn’t help – everywhere I face this problem.

Dear devs, no ETA on when this update of Flamekissed will happen at all? The waiting has become too long….

I’m waiting for the ETA, too. I think they could discuss with the designers by this time when they can “fix it”. Waiting becomes too long. Either cancel the decision or at least give some time frames (2/6/12 months).

I can’t stand aside and I will support ozmaniandevil.6805! No way he/she was rude, I saw no offensive words in his/her post. The real fact is that there are no “priviledged” players, where did you know about them? They have a special look on their toons or something? There’s nothing in the gem store that can disbalance the game, you can fully play without donating at all, some gem store goods are sometimes given for in-game accompishments, along with the gems. The only thing that differentiates players from each other are TITLES. But NO WAY you can earn them via buying gems, these titles are given for in-game achievements, lots of which are not so hard to accumulate without grinding.

I can’t understand what you’re expecting from the game- they give you free access, new events and living stories every two weeks, different new festivities…. Buying gems will not differentiate you at all from the rest of the players, in contradicts the game’s policy.

Yes, I already decided that for now I will not buy gems with real world money (I’ve been doing this almost every month). Who knows what the community will be whining about again next time? There’s no safety now buying anything in BLTC

This situation is unique in GW2 (so far; hope it remains so).

It took something that was supposed to be exclusive (cultural armor) and made it (even if slightly changed) to everyone.

Think of it this way – if they made few changes to the skin of Sunrise, or Twilight, then released it as a Gem skin in a form that was obvious in it’s origins with most of the effects, wouldn’t you expect those who have the actual legendary to be upset?

It’s not just a game. It’s business; they made a skin so people would definitely like and buy it, and in me case they succeeded. And now I’m the losing side.

Recently I thought about the fact that when you create a toon or remake it with makeover kits, the colors for the hair accessories are all from the basic vibrant set dye. It would be great if along with armor we could dye also hair accessories for our toons, taking into consideration different materials, too. I imagine my Mesmer having golden ribbons in her hair, not simply yellow.

I already thought about that. Every since I returned to the game after half a year’s gap, I buy gems with RWM every month. Previously I’ve been buying everything calmly, knowing that the thing I had bought would stay with me forever or a certain number of uses. Now I’m not so sure and will probably be afraid of buying gems anymore. Who knows, what about they’ll whine in this forum again?

There’s a full thread about money refund and the majority says that due to the complany’s policy they don’t have to refund money because you can no way prove that you bought gems for this very armor. You bought gems, they will refund you gems. Technically, it’s fair. In fact, unfair, taking into consideration the fact that the sikn was removed due to the complaint of some people, not ALL the community of ALL the players.

I had a similar idea, but it included dungeon tokens. Each dungeon giving a different effect:

AC: Blue ghostly.
CM: Golden.
TA: Leaves
SE: Red electric.
CoF: Fkitteneen.
HoW: Frost.
CoE: Electric.
Arah: Dark smoke.

All just light particle effects, as we saw. No major changes between types, but a cool way to “upgrade” and customise your armour through gameplay.

they will not let anyone keep the skin as is, as for the refund it will probably be handled the same as the snowflake? (i think thats what is was) incident that they gave people a time frame to delete their items. they will probably send our trans splitters, give a week or so for people to use em and delete the skins, if not they will delete/put a generic 80 white armor look for the skinned items themselves regardless of what they are attached too

No, actually they say that the skin will update to a new look so it will be something with flames, which will be on the store. And if you don’t like the new look, they promise a “full refund”. I don’t know wherether they refund the transmutation crystals, but they say all the cases will be treated individually.

I doubt that, because then the human’s cultural will disbalance the race choices. Then they have to give opportunity to add those effects to all T3 cultural armor.

I lose the faith in that my voice is viable. People who were against the Flamekissed, were taken into consideration. And those who did not object do not concern anyone and in the result are disposed of the look they like. P.S. Before I SAW Flamekissed in the gemstore, it was all right. Now I’m afraid I won’t like any of the armor in the game because this was an ideal merge for me.

Again, I hardly see how anyone could possibly have needed Transmute Crystals for this armor, since you don’t need them to apply gem store skins to a piece of armor/etc.

I’ll explain. Seeing medium and heavy flame armor sets, I’m 90% sure the new light set will be a kitten. In this situation I don’t like it and refunded by the gems. BUT I need to buy and use 6 Transmutation Crystals to make the set into something good. Than’t why we need also crystals refund.

You see, when I buy a thing from Gem Store, I mustn’t even care a bit about how it will corcern other players with its look or existence, nor don’t I have to suffer because of their feelings. That’s it.

I suppose, if it’s possible, not to delete the set, but to make it cost around 1500-200 gems whci I will gladly give away to have this armor stay. Then all those who are offended by the low price will be silent (I hope) and all those who adore it will have it.

There’s one issue – when you reach the cap of 300% of Magic Find, what to do with the new and new acccount bound Essenses of Luck, they will stuff the inventory and you’ll have to destroy it constantly. And adding luck to account pool would solve this problem, as it would just stop to appear at all.

I also have problems with range. It often happens that I fail to guess the range and the skill is wasted and I have to wait for it to recharge. I suggest that devs bring forward this feature: When I get to my target, the skills, which range can inflict damage, would be highlighted in some way.

The suggestion is great, but I don’t think it will be soon got into use. And I solved the problem of clicking with the help of Artificier – this crafting discipline allows to refine all the Luck by stages Fine-Masterwork-Rare-Exotic. After 2-hour champion run and 5 minuter near the artificier station I end up with 50-60 Lucks each granting 200 points.
