I also had the same issue with my former laptop thinking it was maybe the connection and/or driver or tired graphics card (and yes turning down the graphic settings seem to help, but only temporarily); it did seem random. after having a professional diagnose my machine, nothing wrong was found.

Now having the same freezing issue (game completely stops, sound stays, unable to do anything else on the desktop including shutting it down in task manager, the only thing to work is restarting) and I just purchased a brand new MSI machine last week, and freezing game started today.

Agreed with Seera.5916: making events and vistas to be region specific may solve some frustration.

I was in a low level zone (my toon being at level 64) and players were spamming their skills at the entry spot of the enemy npcs to the point where no other players could possibly get even one shot in to get credit for the event, despite players communicating. This is the case for many or all events, and I’m finding it extremely frustrating often not caring about daily achievements as I used to. I used to make a point to getting my dailies done daily, and now less so. I can imagine the dismay and frustration of newer players.

The positive aspect to the new daily events is the meshing of high and low level players emphasizing the great and best thing about gw2: its cooperation factor which makes the game so enjoyable and wanting to return to. The other great thing about the daily event is that it brings high level players back to zones which they completed and maybe forgotten about, allowing opportunities for guild recruiting and assisting new players, which I’m assuming are the goals of the changed daily event system.

Getting dailies should be a fun, exploring and re-discovering experience in getting achievements. At the moment, the experience is less so.

That way, people could spread out for the events a lot more. While it males it a quick daily, I hate when it’s do events in a starter zone. Not only is it hard for max level characters to get in enough hits at events, it’s likely even harder for new players.

Yeah, I’m not sure what’s going on. I have the right tier; just created a passion flower embellished brilliant jewel, but for some reason with a mithril filigree, I can’t make any other stone, AND it’s not on my production list…

I’m pretty sure I checked all those things, so not sure what I’m missing… I’ll check again; thank you so much for your response

I bought 2 rare jewelry recipes from the Master Jeweler and I don’t see them in my production list. I have all the items (glob of ectoplasm, enough # of stones, mithril filigree) to make the items and I’m at the right level. but they’re not showing up including in discovery which I’m assuming it wouldn’t because it’s a bought recipe…

I’ve already made the Embellished Brilliant ruby and that’s showing up in my production list, I also have a redded-out recipe for Exquisite…where are my other recipeeees…? Now, I haven’t made the embellished gilded or ornate. Do I have to do those first? But if we buy recipes even if we can’t make them yet, shouldn’t they show up red?

This has got to be a pebkac issue…
