Guild Wars 2

I play NA time – normally 7-10 or 11 EST

Hey all,

I am returning to the game after a long break and am looking for a new guild. I like to WvW and PVE – looking for a fun, talkative, and relatively relaxed guild that enjoys playing together and joking around.

I am not looking for a ridiculously hardcore WvW guild that takes itself too seriously, but at the same time if I am going to WvW I want to do so with people who do so strategically – not just in mass chaos.

Willing to transfer servers.

My husband and I have been away from Guild Wars for several months because everyone we were playing online with essentially stopped playing. We love the game and are starting back up on Northern Shiverpeaks and we are looking for a social guild.

We want a guild that plays together—WvW as well would be nice.

We enjoy grouping and interacting with guild members—so we are not looking for a guild that is quiet and/or too serious.

I like playing ranger and I do not, at all, want to swap classes. At the same time if the developers are planning to continue handling situations like this then I fear many (including myself) will start looking for another game to play.

Why spend so much time, energy, and effort fighting to be heard on forums (and to get a real response to the issue) instead of actually playing the game?

It’s just out of hand at this point—the game is great and has a lot of potential, but they are ruining that potential with poor leadership.

Attention Developers!

I am currently a ranger (a low level one since I just started playing the game) and it is so very sad that I am on other class forums looking for a new class due to the shortbow nerf and how the entire situation was handled.

I am becoming very, very disappointed with the developers and unfortunately making these huge mistakes (and not owning up to them and fixing them) is inevitably going to run players away AND keep new players from joining the game. They are essentially shooting themselves in the foot.

I think it’s also important for the developers to understand that not everyone plays for PVP; therefore, when you nerf the freaking shortbow you start dying to mobs in regular game play—absolutely ridiculous.

Developers—-please tell me you plan to fix these huge issues and mistakes (and admit to them instead of just saying "we had to fix a graphical glitch so we nerfed your only skill with the only weapon that is effective) or let me know that this will continue throughout the future so I can just find another game to play.

Thank you for your message—when do you all play?

We are located in the US—central time zone.

My husband and I have recently started playing Guild Wars 2 and are around level 20. We are looking for a guild that is large enough to have people online but not so large that you don’t really get to know anyone.

We play the game for fun and greatly enjoy grouping.

We’d prefer a family-friendly guild…or at the very least a guild that we don’t have to worry about our daughter (5-year-old) overhearing vulgar conversations.

We are not opposed to changing servers—we just haven’t met that close group of people that we’d like to play with yet and that’s honestly a huge part of what we enjoy about gaming.
