Just checked the mote, it’s still not there. Gotta keep bashing our face against the wall, hoping that we might get through and get this bug looked at eventually..
Is it blocking progress? It could just be a UI thing, not showing the completed steps.
Well, the issue reappeared this morning as I was going to check on my TP purchases. The game was working perfectly fine yesterday, where I did fractals and a bit of pvp. After that I turned the PC off for the night, and I had the issue again this morning. Any help is appreciated.
I do recall uninstalling the old drivers, and installing the new ones through the Catalyst, but I did just reinstall them again with DDU and Catalyst, and the issue seems to be fixed. I’ll update this thread if the issue resurfaces. Thank You for Your help!
I have recently started having the issue of my game client crashing after I log in. When I turn my PC on, most of the time I am able to log in and play with no issues, PvE, PvP, WvW, whatever. The game also runs smoothly with no issues. The issue appears when I close the game (through the ESC menu, Alt + F4, task manager, same thing happens with all), and try to launch it again. After the launcher appears, and I log in, the game goes to white as it should, and just hangs there for a few seconds, and the generic windows message (http://i.imgur.com/dkT7lO0.png) appears, and I can’t do anything but close the game. Clicking on the more info gives the following:

I tried running it with and without Admin rights, deleting and reinstalling the game at least twice, as well as trying the “-repair” command, with the issue reappearing each time. The issue also tends to happen on first launch, but much rarer. So far the only fix that I know is to restart the computer and hope it works, but you can probably guess that this gets annoying.
My computer specs are:
Intel Core i5 – 3750k not OCed
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H motherboard
8GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon r9 280 not OCed
I upgraded the CPU, RAM and motherboard about a year ago, and the graphics card about 2 months ago , and the game ran without any issues for at least a month. So I doubt that it’s a hardware issue, but I have been wrong before.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am sorry if this has been asked before, I have tried looking through google and search function on these forums, but nothing came up, and the things that did didn’t help. If you need more info, I’d be happy to supply it. Thank you for your time.
