Why is the “overflow” which is by definition a temporay layover – functioning as the primary method to get a dungeon group (i.e. fractals) anyway?
Some people need to get heads out of kittens and learn about mmo community functionality from other iterations.
kitten wintersday – fix the grouping problems your having; you literally have no lfg function other than sitting on our kittens in LA – not even a general chat or some type of world channel.

So yeah,
I’d like to know when you are going to:
1. realize that fractal runs are a major time investment
2. acknowledge to yourselves that disconnect is a fairly common problem
3. admit that getting 3/4 through a fractal and then being locked out really blows for your players.
4. come to the conclusion that fractal content would be alot more popular if people didnt consider it such a pain in the axx specifically because of this problem.
5 start thinking about finding a way to allow people to rejoin their party after disconnecting
5. start doing something about it
Thanks
Yay Noobix,
Very well stated – here here!
I’m having the exact type of experiences
Fractals are a big waste of time and should be your primary concern right now
If there was another game out tomorrow I’m pretty sure I’d drop GW2 w/out a second thought
Your missing her point> If someone is so ‘bad’ that you feel the need to kick them then you should do it as soon as you decide you feel you should, go back out and regroup.
The OP is talking about going through the content and at the last moment before the biggest prize kicking them.
The intent being pure malice and the motivation simply to hurt the other as much as possible without any consequences.
wow just reading through this thread and it seems as if you first responded to these complaints over a month ago.
What are you doing or what have you done about it that it has taken a month to get results?
What’s the problem?
1. do you not have enough staff or time?
2. don’t know how?
3. don’t have enough money to pay someone to fix it?
I mean I’m confused. What is the reason it has taken over a month to do something about this?
I had posted the following in General Discussion and the thread was closed and redirected here so ill post here again just to help fan the flames a bit so to speak:

I’m really amazed this has continued with out more irrate people complaining about it.
This is a game-breaking issue for me and I would think for many others.
I hope they add punctuation.
lol

This has probably been suggested before but really c’mon. There is no option to even adjust particle density not to mention spell effects from other players.
Yay constant annoying firestorm. 1 time seeing that was enough.
I can’t help but wonder in amazement why new game developers fail to use what has proved successful in earlier iterations of the mmo.
Where is the logic?
My experience with it:
I tried it for a while with a full set of rare: weapons, armor, trinkets, food, banner
When there was the Grenth Orr event bug and there were constant waves of mobs for a few weeks non-stop
Tested it for several hours over several sessions
I saw no appreciable difference in the value of the dropped items at all. In fact both me and a friend who I had also crafted a rig for felt we were getting less magic gear.
I use 5sigs
Hammer (knight stats)
Rifle (zerk stats)
Knight’s/Valkyrie Drac armor mix (6 Beryl Orbs)
Emerald/Knight, Beryl/Valk, and Ruby/Zerk trinket combo
20 in Strength
25 in Arms
25 in Defense
I have no problems at all in pugs, dungeons or fracs
They are manipulating the currency and exchange rate to coerce people into spending $. I doubt they will move away from this business model.
Definately a big issue. It is the business model at fault. The economy (ways to make gold, i.e. loot drops) and currency exchange rate are being manipulated to bring in more $; it’s as simple that.
It’s the same reason why alot of the armor and skins are unattractive or can’t be viewed with preview on tp, etc. The buisness model is to find as many sublte or not so sublte ways to encourage players to buy gold.
Several people have posted about crashing to desktop at the exact same place during the jumping puzzle of this fractal.
Solutions were suggested and tried and all had no effect. However there has been no response from support despite several posts, bug and crash reports.
Can we get some information about this issue?
Thanks

What’s up with this annoying garbage?
Hey this has been posted before but got no attention from tech support staff so I’m adding my crash report. As was previously mentioned it always happens at the same spot. 6 times now. I’ve tried all the generic and/or obvious “fixes”.
Thanks for your consideration.
