Is it just me or is the new AC very buggy? In path 2, Ghost eater sometimes spaces out and refuses to agro and in path 3, Grast and his buddy have AI issues, if they died and you rez them they rush in immediately to fight the boss with half life, and grast sometimes doesn’t cast the shield.

It isn’t just you. I think the NPCs and monsters understand the gimmicks as much as my last PUG did…

Grast seems to prioritize him hammer attack before anything else. In the run I just completed, he refused to use his bubble through three party wipes. It isn’t as if he was knocked down or incapacitated, he was busy chargin’ his hammer swing while RC was chargin’ his laser.

Its been bugging me the number of posts there are about how its to hard, I don’t think it will be much harder than it was once the bugs are fixed.

I have to agree. The difficulty curve is something there are in-game solutions for as it is. The bugs handicap any real enjoyment that might come from the changes.

While I don’t think a lot of the changes do much for the dungeon in either a positive or negative light, I have to strongly disagree about the Ghost Eater. Yes, it was kind of dull before, but now it is a tedious gimmick boss of the worst sort and still dull. There is no thinking, no depth, and no room for player creativity or playstyle.

Worse for me, in the current state it seems prone to bugging out and being unfinishable. Out of three runs, either the traps stopped removing the Ghost Shield buff from the boss or stopped charging altogether. I can’t wait for it to get ironed out, but I still think I’ll take either of the other paths over Detha’s.

My account was unlocked today!

In real world time, it took about 67 hours (which is still inside the 72 hour response window). About half of this elapsed over the weekend when the account support team does not have office hours, I believe.

Support was terse yet polite and informative and able to get the issue cleared up. My one point of dissatisfaction was although they confirmed my account closure was due to an error, they were not able to tell me how or why the error occurred specifically, likely either because of policy or continuing account security processes.

Overall I hope I never have to go through the process again, but it does restore a small amount of confidence.

• We know there are false positives. When you’re banning thousands, there is some chance that an innocent player will be banned. We regret that deeply, and we work constantly to improve the processes (which are not automatic, by the way) to avoid false positives.

• Most importantly, you should know that a number of the people in this thread posting about their “unjust ban” are, in fact, botters. They may be RMT workers from a foreign country; they may be the guy down the street who is using a bot program and doesn’t think we can detect it. Not everyone is guilty, for certain!

I for one think this is a pretty far cry from “Lol a lot of you are liars lol.”

I was in the Harathi Hinterlands event about 2 hours ago and was also hit by the account ban sweep. Arena nets claim for checking before pulling the trigger is scewed. I had only been logged on for about 2 hours.. just enough time to walk from black citadel to the highlands to meet up with some guildies, hit up a an auction house to collect some coin and then get into the actual event as it was running. So there is no way they could have justified 2 hours of play as botting, it’s a randomized sweep and unfortunately it wrongly affects many innocent players. All in all their process needs to change dramatically as the innocents have been exponentially increasing in the last few days as the sweeps are getting more frequent and larger in area size. I guess I will just wait around for a few days till they get their slow butts off their ban buttons and read the wrongful termination tickets for those of us caught in the crossfire.

Totally uncalled for, but yet hillarious proof that arena net really has no control over their games or their own employees.

I fully understand being upset about the situation, as I myself am on the waiting list to get my account back. However, casting aspersions and unwarranted hostility isn’t going to help anyone and certainly doesn’t improve the clarity of the underlying issue.

I’m in the same boat.

I used to make a game of seeing if i could find and report 20 no-doubt-about it, true blue bots a day. It just seems weird that I’d be picked out wrongly for botting myself.
