I’m having a hard time keeping my opinion to myself about all this “transfer” stuff…
But I’ll force myself to keep quiet for now.
I’m just glad all this “free transfer” crap is over now. It was fixed about six months too late, but at least the horrible, horrible, horrible problems it caused have finally done all the damage they could possibly do. Now the lame part is over …
… I think … I hope! xD
The comments made by Veltoss on these forums belong to him, and him alone. RUIN is not under the impression that the BWC is “throwing” the match, and as a participating ally in the fight against JQ/SoS we are certainly doing our best to have fun in every engagement.
Let’s all calm down and take out our frustrations on the enemy in-game.
The fight in Tier 1 has been really fun! Looking for more WvW focused players at all times!
Join us for memorable battles!
We could use you for the fight on Blackgate! We do everything and are all adults / couples. Teamspeak required.
Blackgate could definately use more people interested in the inevitable Tier 1 fight!

If you’re “aimin’ to misbehave” … does that mean you’re a BROWNCOAT? hahahah!

“Who We Are”
Ruin Gaming is a long standing, international, multi-gaming community with an active and loyal players base. We are proud of the many accomplishments we’ve achieved in every game we’ve played since our inception in 2008. Due to the recent exodus from Guild Wars 2 for other games, we have a void in our WvW army that needs you to help fill it! We want to reach our previous numbers, and we have many ranked spots available for those who want to help lead our future recruits.
“Who We Are Looking For”
Ruin is looking to recruit loyal adults over the age of 18 who love WvW and have common sense. If you want a strong community which you can help grow, Ruin is right for you! We are NOT elitist, but basic class competency is a must.
“What We Require”
Teamspeak 3 and a thirst for WvW is all you need! We play many games, and Teamspeak is necessary only when you are doing organized PvP such as WvW. Having a working microphone is not necessary but highly recommended. We have a charter on our forums for further information if you wish to read it.
“How to Join”
You can join our Teamspeak 3 server, contact any of our members in game, or leave an application on our forums at www.Ruinnation.com
If you are having trouble getting in touch with us please leave me a message in game.
See you on the battlefield!

You must do what you need to do in order to win.
As long as it’s within the confines of the T&A / EULA that you and ANET agreed to, all is fair in love and war. And I love to war with you all, so much!
I personally do prioritize having fun above winning however, and so far EU is way more fun than the defeatist NA brackets.

The only reason they joined is because they obviously decided to avoid competition. I’m not sure what RUIN expected, did they really expected to meet a canadian hebrew-speaking guild with 500 members? Did they expect us to stay awake just to battle them?
Haha! Oh man.
You should have seen the US top tier. The Tier of Tears.
We came to EU looking for a spot that needed to be filled, and epic battles.
We found what we were looking for, and I applaud Xaoc/BT/AR for giving us one hell of a good fight last matchup. Yes, we wanted better competition and less defeatism. We found it last week, and I hope it will continue.
Starting to feel like a down slope :(
But I’m staying optimistic!
