I’m kind of confused how a mesmer I fought can shatter more than 3 clones at once and do so in a spam that hits around 8 in a very short period of time. Is it normal or an exploit?

Totally agree, this trait should be selectable and not auto assigned when you take the tree!
My only complaint was too much screen flashing! It was cool on the intro but during actual gameplay kind of takes away from the video.

If you leave SR before the full duration you get the revealed debuff. Just auto attack or cc over your team mate. You know, just like you would any other class.
BUT BUT HES INVISIBLE! Its like people lose the ability to use reason when fighting a thief.
If you would actually try playing a thief you would soon learn that it doesnt need nerfing. The issue is basically newbs crying. I built my thief mainly foor power toughness and vitality.
If a glass cannon hits you and you arent geared for tough/vitality you will usually die. This isnt exclusive to thieves people. I can almost bet most of the whiners are low lvls with crap gear in wvw getting hit by decked out guys
Seriously last refuge just gets me killed 9 times out of 10 because it triggers the debuff where I can’t hide because I have just cast cloak and dagger before it triggered!
This is a totally useless 5 point skill in the shadow arts tree (probably the best tree) that you cannot avoid taking and it’s incredibly frustrating.
Switch it with something that doesn’t totally negate the thieves strategic gameplay and make it a 10 point ability that people can choose instead.
And today is just another example of why free transfers shouldn’t be enabled anymore.
Jumping ship to form a zerg on Blackgate shows you lack the skill to compete in equal terms and sullies the good sportsmanship we have had thus far (mostly).
Whatever floats your boat though I guess. Steamrolling gets old really quick though.
But now we have: 25% increased move speed. Short bow teleport. Stealth stacking AND 50% movement in stealth.
I dunno, it’s bizzare is all I’m saying, I will abuse it on my thief while it lasts I guess but I still think it’s just a wrong move lol.

I play a thief/ele/engineer and I’m kind of baffled as to why they gave us a trait for 50% increased speed while stealthed.
The thief class is already hard enough to catch and with this we will just see MORE cheesy glass cannon builds in WvW because it’s that much easier to escape.

To the SoR invader exploiting the game to get under dreaming bay and attack people, you are in violation of the game ToS and it is a bannable offense.
Signet of the hunt for rangers is getting the boost to 25% movement speed.
Just want to make sure you don’t miss Necromancers signet of the locust. Also needs a boost to 25% (currently at 10% like signet of the hunt).
Signets in general could use a lowering of cooldowns as well, they are currently around 60 seconds to 2.5 mins which is nuts when you compare them to say a thiefs signets which are 30-40 seconds.

I agree, the burst needs to be toned down. Diminishing returns on stats are a possible solution.
There’s no room for fun or skilled play when TTK is this short. I would much rather have 10-20 second battles than the current see who bursts the fastest wins.
The current state of things makes condition damage even more useless. whats the point in condition specs when they are dead before the stacks are up?
Same error. Happens when trying to load a map or dungeon.
Booted all 4 of my party and 5 others in my guild so its not on my end.
The weapon “Arachnophobia” cannot currently be listed for sale OR searched for on the Trading Post.
If you type “…” into the trading post search window the item shows up but without it’s name. This item should be sellable and searchable by it’s proper name just like all the other halloween weapon skins.
You have to remember that grenades, just like all other kits are there to fill a “niche” and never become a main weapon. They are amazing for wvw defense and offense assaults on keeps but horrid for moving targets.
That just seems to be the tradeoff.
If you want a build that does high single target burst I suggest trying rifle burst builds. You can put out massive damage with the discharge on toolbelt skill and auto attack.
Take toolkit, rifle turret and one other utility skill that is either survival or another ranged damage. Rifle turrets toolbelt skill recharges like every 6 seconds!
Your trade off is crap aoe damage though!
My feedback after playing one to 45 in WvW and PvE is:
You can hit very hard IF you are geared for it but you will also die in one or two hits when immobilized.
What I think annoys people is being 2 shot by a select couple builds with no way to counter it. I think if you deal with those builds BUT increase survivability to compensate it would be a fair trade.
So yeah: Some OP builds in certain areas but for the most part a very very brittle class.
The people making these changes obviously don’t even play the game. Thieves are still killing within seconds and the only viable spec is still grenades for engineers.
Hire new staff.
Post patch using Elixir S on my asuran male engineer gives me MAJOR camera clipping off the terrain. It’s really hard on the eyes.
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the intention of Anet to give one single class an ability that can bypass upgraded walls, doors and defenses. The fact that people use it to abuse culling is enough in my mind to disable it until they have fixed it.
There needs to be limitations placed on portals in WvWvW.
There is no reason one class should have such a game breaking spell which puts their utility far above all others like this.
It abuses culling issues (portal bomb) and also abuses keep defenses because one Mesmer can portal in infinite numbers of his friends and render all wall and door upgrades useless.
Solutions? Disable the spell. Put a cap on how many people can pass through it. Disable its use in areas which are not controlled by your server (if you do not own a keep you may not portal inside of it.
Just have their use limited to OUTSIDE the keeps and castles. It’s a cheeseball move to have to scan your entire keep just because there could be one mesmer /sleeping on the floor or in some wall structure.

It makes no sense to punish condition damage on rangers ranged weapon by adding a positional requirement to apply a bleed.
Engineers pistols and thievses shotbow aplly bleed and aoe on their 1 attack with no positional requirement. Discuss

Asuran engineer with no speed buffs.
Took quite a few tries and as a long term gamer I can see why people with less experience are having issues.
The ooze is a tad too fast and the larger races make it hell to see where you are jumping! Enjoyed the challenge :-)

Yeah buff the others and leave grenades alone. Its our one kit that isnt borked at the moment.
Go to options and enable the cast ob mouse target feature.
I’m pretty much forced to use Pistol/Pistol(or shield) and Grenade kit with cleansing elixirs builds. Everything else I have tried does mediocre damage…
What’s with all the close range kits when we are squishy anyways??! I think we need alot more though put into this classes design. I mean when I hop on my warrior alt its easymode. I just greatsword/rifle things to death like a machine.

I just used 5 days as a starting point. The game is broken with the way server transfers are right now….
If people havent organized onto their friends servers at this point then too bad. just turn off free transfers at least.
With free transfers having no penalty there is currently little point in playing WvWvW on a lower populated server. The majority of players just use the free transfer to go to the winning side and further the imbalance.
There has to be a penalty for a free transfer and since the only thing that server population imbalance affects is WvWvW it must be a cooldown on entering it after using a free transfer.
Paid ones will of course bypass this feature since paying money is deterrent enough for most people.
Seriously fix this horrible horrible mess by doing this.

The skillpoint NPC in Dissun Mine is completely missing from the Ehmry Bay server and has been for days and days.
Same issue on Ehmry Bay. Cannot complete map because of this.
Yeah it seems pretty broken to lose stats like that especially since you dont get the weapon sigil bonuses either…
Engineers currently lose ALL weapon stat bonuses when switching to kits (bomb kit, tool kit ect). This is a pretty big chunk of stats that we lose out on and the class is basically built around switching in and out of kits so I would like to see it fixed.
Your base weapon stats should never dissapear and be treated like armor.
