I actually like the downed state and ability to res players, I just don’t think downed players should be able to do more damage then when they’re not downed.
As Glektor said, a downed player shouldn’t be able to win if the other person has more than 50% of their health. That seems pretty logical to me.
thanks for the info. That was my first 1v1 fight with a thief and I was just shocked they downed me when I had nearly full health and the speed in which they did it. That definitely needs to be fixed.
Im a lev 80 ranger with a longbow and a full set of high end exotic gear. I managed to sneak up on someone and got them to the downed position before they even hit me.
Just as my finishing move was about to complete they disappeared for about 2-3 secs and teleported about 10 feet away. I went to finish them again and again they disappear for about 2-3 seconds.
When they re-appeared they attached me and got me downed. Luckly they didn’t have much life left and I ended up winning.
1) How were they able to go into stealth twice and teleport once?
2) How did they down me so fast from the downed position?
Unfortunately I didn’t check my combat logs and I couldn’t tell what class they were, but with the stealth I’m assuming they were a thief.
Does this sound legit or was this someone who was hacking?
I was looking at some of the more expensive armor listed on the Market and noticed that by buying the same exact stated gear with an open slot instead of already having a rune, it was about 80% cheaper.
For example the Zhed boots are listed for 12 gold. I can buy the same exact stated boots without the Superior Rune of the Centaur, and with an open slot instead for about 2 gold. The Superior Rune of the Centaur cost about 40s, so for about 2.4 I can have the exact same stats as the Zhed boots.
My question is why are people buying these “named” sets for insane prices when they can just buy the lesser named items for 80% off?
