why even have humans then if theres a super saiyan race?

ive decided to go with 25/0/30/15/0 that meditation kitten is cold. every time I use it its a heal for like 2k and THEN it deals damage, AFTER getting rid of conditions. yeah 3 of those plus the signet of healing is a full heal right there buddy. takin a mace and hammer and focus is just too powerful really. with WAY too much survivability. I love it. best dps build to me. oh yeah and when I get a lil more healing power that dodge roll heal will just be stupid survivability.

seriously tho we need mounts. with either perma swiftness or that run faster than swiftness bc in all truth and reality wp are great but cost some bread, and what do I do when I want to go to a wp that’s blocked off bc some kitten world event is happening that wont be completed for months bc no ones ever around to do it and the 3 closest waypoints next to that wp are also blocked off (im looking at you kessex hills and orr) idk about flying but we need mounts. period

maybe it can be the only class that can dual wield greatswords

yeah I tried out amins build and so far I am loving it like having all that health doesn’t even matter anymore lol. I do love guardian a lot and so far I think amins has shown me a pretty beast build so I think im going to roll with it for a while thanks guys

more importantly if you take out some of that radiance and throw it into honor your raising your overall hp by another 1k or 2k and full blown honor and valor gets you roughly 20k health with amins build, and that’s if you only sacrifice 100 power that is in zeal. so the usual 16-17k health is now buffed 4k and you only lose 100 power. that’s the build I have so Is it that great to go dps with a guardian if a dps build only will give you 100 more power?

yeah not much arguing with you, lol see I play guardian so you can understand the whole struggle I feel with exactly what you just said. that being said warriors are all about the greatsword anyway, mesmers rock pistols with their swords and lets just face it idc for daggers, or maces, and the dual wielding pistols sounds cool if the best builds for those is actually dual wielding the same wep then I may need to check them out.

so I just hit lvl 80 and im totally lost now. there are dungeons and fractals seem fun but ppl will say I will die if I try a fractal right now, theres something called a mystic forge and ascended recipes idek how to use recipes. basically where is a guardian to start in his quest to be the best? and where do I go after that?

I just scoured the internet for your build! you made a fan in like 20mins, do you have any advice for me? and i just wanted to ask y you didn’t grab all that precision in radiance with your zealous defender build

I will always play my guardian bc I like him forsure so it was never a perma switch. I just didn’t see a good way to LIVE while dealing decent dps. but I just about cried watching this guy got boons… that was beautiful…

kitten … what build and weps was he using and your right I am still new like I just hit lvl 80 yesterday so how do I start the venture to become that? and what will this do for me in pve. I like pve content more thatn wvw.

and then still be able to take a hit, without blinds and reflects and all that other stuff

but will it hit that 90k damage a warrior will in pve, or will it hit that 16k a thief will in pvp and wvw.

are norns really just tall humans? like ppl call the asura small humans but they are clearly a special race with ears and the whole dwarf science thing going on but are norns really just………. tall humans…. albeit seemingly werewolf humans but,…. are they really just tall humans?

yeah, I have to agree here, there needs to be dueling. I mean really whats the harm it would do but allow for epic battles to go down with friends and people who look cooler than others (In opinion) there really is no argument here.

thank you cat that is what I was trying to say. so then everyone would agree that warrior is one of the better dps options? id like to be able to do high dps with fun dps as well. like necros look like they have a good amount but im not sure…? and im not jumping ship lol I will always be a guardian at heart

so like, when will we be getting more weapon skills? I know Anet said they want every class to be able to use all weapons so I can understand waiting until after that but I know they aren’t content with only the weapon skills they have now. when will we get more skills to change in our weapon skill slots? for example I know they have had ideas for cooler skill ideas with for example the off hand axe on a warrior or better skills with a dual wielding warrior or Mesmer. which brings me to combination skills I think it would be cool if the game had skills that came with certain weapons being used together. like if you are dual wielding swords on say the warrior class you can slot a skill specially for when you have those equipped like sonic cut, where you do the iconic cut through an enemy at blinding speeds and pose afterward with both swords behind your back standing still then 2 secs later they fall to pieces ( enough imagination) any way any thoughts on combo skills and wep skills or do you think the current amount of options is okay.

yeah. I did like SAO no lie. but the dream of dual wielding was ablaze long before SAO

I have about 90hrs on my guardian so far. and I don’t think anyone is seeing my point to this which is simply, I just don’t want to dps with my guardian like that…

why are there so many of the same armor sets through the whole game and same looking weapons through the whole game until I basically get to end game and get all these different looking weapons with same stats essentially. I come from a guardian I just maxed at level 80. why for most of that time did I have to rock that same looking scale armor for the whole majority of the game only to get some decent looking armor and then have it out stated by the same scale armor I was just wearing. same goes for weapons. I wont forget getting the light sword in a story quest then having a generic looking “sword” out stat it basically forcing me to play with that same sword I was using since basically lvl 1. now im lvl 80 and get all these different looking armors and weapons that are close to same stats. ike why cant you use those looks that are same stats for lower class weapons. this game has enough cool weapons that I shouldn’t have to grind my way through the whole game looking at the same one. and now at lvl 80 everyone is using a single type of armor depending on the type of build they want for that class so it basically kills most of the armor and weapon animations anyway. and then loe I get to lvl 80 get a sweet sword do a dungeon and bam! generic looking sword, better stats. this makes not want to try out another class bc I know what I will be looking at for another 80 lvls.

and you can still pull out about 2800 attack power with that build and then with the buffs and might stacks easily pull up into that 3000+ attack power and still keep the survivability the guardians dps builds are mostly centered around precision as I have experienced and a crit doesn’t mean much to me in the face of someone meant for crit or doing constantly high damge and THEN does a crit. even if a guardian had 100% crit rate.

that’s close to the build I had before I went with my current build. the thing is that that build is mostly glass cannon and in pve I got downed almost all the time bc mobs would just kill me when I ran out of vigor and I ran out of all other save your butt options. and besides that isn’t the 10k plus a warrior will hit or the much heard about close to 15k a thief will pull out on you which is enough to one shot the guy in this video. a guardian running that build just feels like it takes away from the whole point to the guardian while still not giving the same end result. that’s just my feeling tho. and I like my guardian for his survivability but for when I want to go straight dps with no worries id like to know a class that does this well from another guardians point of view having come from a guardian

who asked for nerfs to stealth? (I could be asking for a lot of flame here but this needs to be said) WE GUARDIANS, WE OF EQUALLY LOW HEALTH, AND WE OF LOW MOBILITY! whenever we have a heated battle with any thief capable of technically one shotting most lower lvled classes (im looking at you 15k dmg) then when we get close to a possible kill you will just go invisi and run away from the fight all together. now wtf we are standing here looking lost waiting for your one attack that equals a block, and it never comes while you just sit back and full heal and come back on us whenever you feel like having the fight go your way. it shouldn’t take an overly skilled player to beat a simple thief. it should be fair.

and I go 10/0/30/30/0 still get decent dps. and I mean boons and other stuff is great but what class doesn’t focus so much on boons and conditions to be a beast it can have them but just doesn’t have as much of a focus on them bc its gotten to the point to where I don’t want to care about who has what boons anymore and when to do what. im fine with stun breaking and going in.

and that’s the thing is that I do have a dps survivability build. and while I love my guardian and all he is capable of I would actually like to be able to just go up to some uber enemy and be like “its war mf” instead of “ok u hit me, nice hit, watch me heal and give myself 30 boons while I chip away at your health and theres not much you can do bc im a kittenin tank god” this isn’t always the case of course against many bosses, except, it can be if your good enough. and with a team I always envied that guy I was protecting doing all his cool moves while I just hit this guy and he would hit me and that was my main role… be hit…

well tbh it just doesn’t FEEL like a dps class when im playing it. like my mentality when playing a guardian isn’t really to straight kill my enemy simply bc I have the option to be such a great tank as well boon giver. so it just takes my focus away from other things, plus, they cant dual wield… and I think that looks cool… lol

We need a class dedicated (more or less) to dual wielding swords and other weapons such as pistols that possibly gains a bonus when dual wielding same weps. this thread is ideas for classes that would be good at this. such as the void class. pops in with its dual wielding pistols and when it shoots into its void circle in front of him the bullets come out of the wholes surrounding the enemy. yeah you like that idea huh. or dual wielding swords and he stabs his swords through this circle and the other void hole is under the enemy and million stabs comes out of the ground. that’s hell right there. or dual wielding axes, void classes uses his kinetic void abilities to use the chains on his axe to have them swirl around him in a void axe swirling shield type thing that enemies get damaged when they come around and this shield stays in effect during wep swap so when you bust out your dual wielding swords again and you use void rush to slice through your opponent they also take the damage of this axe tornado going through them. anway there are other dual wielding class ideas like… gee idk the dual wielder. your thoughts on a dual wielding class.

well… guild wars 2 ppl need to fix this then and create a class designed for dual wielding…

I was just wondering if there was a class that was actually good at dual wielding with 2 swords. I like the look of using 2 swords and was wondering if there was a class that actually excels/is best used with 2 swords.

so I just got a lvl 80 guardian and I find myself helping more people with a lot of survivability (makes sense for a guardian) but now I’d really like it if I could play a class more oriented towards dps. so I was wondering how the other classes stacked up dps-wise. especially with all the new updates. I hear necros are now a lot more capable but I hear warriors have the all around best so go with them anyway, thing is I already chose my heavy armor class so I was wondering what other classes could give a guardian a good challenge dps-stat wise. (and is kinda fun to play)

i am looking for the guild knights of the round to join if they will have me. I am a new lvl 80 guardian and wanted to create the knights of the round but they already did so I would love to join them especially since my name is lancelot lol
