Guild Wars 2

So, ive obtained all masteries in tyria for the legendary precursor crafting, and completed a few vol1. on a couple of different ones. Now im trying to purchase vol2 to continue on, and its telling me i need to obtain the masteries still in order to buy the next volume.

Anyone had this happen? Any help would be great.

So, I’ve completed all the story instances all the way through back when HOT first realeased. Now im trying to go back and do the achievements in each instance, but when i get to The city of hope, its not showing me any entrance to the instance. Instead its saying “Return to auric basin to earn masteroes” Earn your exalted markings mastery to continue your story. – I unlocked exalted markings mastery a long, long time ago. Anyone else had trouble with this?

Im going to make the assumption your outside of the US like myself, as i had the same problem along with alot of others.

Soultion: https://www.tunnelbear.com/ – free vpn, download it make a free acount and connect to the US, open GW2 and theyll download instantly. This is how i fixed it. Im in Australia and it seems loads of people connecting to the NA patch servers were having the same problem.

Anyways , thats a bandaid if you want it.

So I have a trilogy copy of Guild Wars 1 which I bought some time ago(and intend on buying EOTN depending on how responses to this go) and was wondering – what’s the possibility of completing HOM achievements in GW1? Is it still possible/plausible? – I’ve just started into GW1 and to my surprise, I’m actually loving it, its hard, freakishly wierd and totally different all in a really enjoyable way.

I guess I’m more looking for assurance that i wont be completely wasting my time? That also being said im still having fun, so i guess its not really a waste regardless.
I don’t mind putting time and effort in, as long as those achievements are still all do-able without the help of a ton of other players – because from what i have seen so far its pretty bare, the odd person here and there but that’s about it.

Any help/information would be great.
