The whole Shining Blade & Oath thing felt random and did not feel right. It honestly felt like a filler to just have us doing something and I did not feel like it connected to my character or what my character would have done. Fillers to me should be filling up hearts and map stuff, not whatever that was.
After one LS part ends I look forward to jumping back in and finding out more. I don’t expect a ‘fireworks finale’ but this definitely did not -feel- like a good way to close off. I’m not anticipating a new LS, I guess is what I’m saying.
New maps are fun, but can’t they just be new places to explore and not have a ‘gimmick’ that outside of the LS time frame I’m never going to us/do? I suppose that’s a personal opinion but I thought I’d throw that out there.
I think them running after you is adorable. What I’d like? Is for mini’s to be slightly larger.
I have a feeling if they add mounts it might not be a ‘anywhere goes’ sort of situation.
Also, I often find when running from WP to WP the itch for running sliiiiightly faster or at least prettier via a mount.
My biggest thought is we have various sorts of vehicles in the lore/world already and it seems silly we’d have these glorius airships but nothing on the ground. Kinda makes me laugh.
I might be one of the only person who enjoys outfits. I like having a second clothing option to what I’ve transmogged on the gear that the character is currently wearing. I don’t want to transmog constantly due to my whims. Buuuuuut I hate how so many of the outfits are similar and I totally get why people want more options between things. Yet it seems like it would be a lot of work on their part, they gotta cut corners somewhere I suppose? IDK
As a primarily PVE solo/duo/smaaaaall group player I can honestly say deleting a toon just to keep the birthday stuff you get once a year isnt worth it in the end. You can level characters fairly dang fast and so you want the slots to fill up with ones you actually play. I deleted a character I had since the very first day, simply because I knew I’d never play her again, and I dont regret it, but it took me a few months to decide because it just felt wrong plus missing those birthday gifts. lol.
A lot of people are losing interest (or getting frustrated) by these style of maps. I’m sure there are people who enjoy it, but… I just don’t see an equal amount of those folk.
Also whenever someone explains this map I laugh because it just sounds ridiculous.
I’m doing some map filling and playing the game super casually. I usually play axe+torch and longbow and might do events, new zone stuff, so I don’t need anything too complicated. When I go searching for builds as guides I find a lot of conflicting things. What suggestions might you guys on the forum have for me? Eh?

This isn’t so much an ‘entitlement’ thing as much as… nearly spending what we did on the game originally and not even getting half of what we originally paid for. So far it seems the new things, minus the new class – are equal to the free updates we’ve already gotten in terms of content. So why charge so much?
As a PvE casual I can’t afford to spend $50 PLUS however much it would cost to open up another slot. It would be like buying the game over again. Almost worth having two accounts just so I dont have to delete anyone on my current account – and that’s absurd.
For a solo player the high levels and cost of waypoints are outrageous. Considering when you die you don’t have a choice in the matter —- sit and wait for someone to come across you and revive you or go to a waypoint. Which might be like RIGHT on top of you but still cost you way too many silvers.
Home cities would be free of cost to travel to, and waypoints – being our only options for travel besides on foot, should cost less. Unless I don’t use materials for crafting and choose to sell them all, saving money is pretty hard. Not impossible, but I like buying stuff on the trading auctions.
Me and a couple of friends mostly solo. Which is really great with this game because you can wander into an event and not have to queue up and wait for people who might boss you around, etc. Eventually I’ll get into dungeons and look for an active guild to take me on…
But honestly, Waypoints cost way too much at high levels. It’s very disappointing and complicated :/
